Still, you get nothing after completing all challenges.
Also, you can complete them even playing Unlimited Weapons mode, so that kinda sad.
They're not too hard.
"I wanna be the human" isn't like Mr. Perfect. You have only 1 hp, energy doesn't refill, but you have unlimited lives and tries. The most difficult were Dr. Mad's 1 stage bosses (I'm trying to kill the silver one, but you still have to keep eye on both of them) and Dr. Mad himself.
"Only One" wasn't difficult too. I completed it during my third try.
Overall, this game is very fun, it has replay value (Owata & Unlimited Weapons mode, challenges, rankings), very good soundtrack and very nice gameplay.

Well, downloaded and listened to.

Some of the tracks were either broken up into 2, or are cut off early.
Although I still would like to thank Kirak for ripping, I was kinda expecting a rip from the Music Room function.

Rokko-chan is downright amazing. That is truly the Megaman feel with a simple twist. Great level design, and all around everything.

While playing Rokko's Modern Life-Tan, I noticed it blended some of the Metroidvania elements grapically along with it's gameplay mechanics.

When Rolling Man rotates his upper body, he does it in a similar manner like various castlevania bosses who use this animation technique. In other words he's made up of two seperate parts.. Ala a certain RM.

Another tidbit.. Jet-based robot masters seem to be really, REALLY popular these days. Decepticon Air?

I doubt it. I tried something similar with one of my fan projects and it just didn't work.

Maybe, just maybe it might on the new Wii-U...... Whenever it comes out. But we won't know until then.

IMO, RM2/MM2 hacks are so over rated & redundant. Unless new bosses are made out of old ones, it's still the same game. ;P

No offense to anyone, as that does look good. It's just my personal taste.

We could always re-skin the masters, sheild bosses have been around, and alter their stradegies a little, while keeping their aspects. I loved the dick-move bubbleman stage layout though, it showed that you had to watch where you'd jump. Too bad Bubbleman's no Duff McWhalen.

Original games as in MegaPhilX's game MM Unlimited, MegaMan X Currupted, Rokko Chan, MegaMan 21XX, Mega Goat, MegaMan Dr. Wily's Return. These types of games are worthy of actually playing, rather than just a random hack of an existing rom.

I disagree, hacks can be heavily edited to make them feel like a different game too, and they can be on par (and even surpass) to some of those you mentioned. Making the game on a different way doesn't make it automatically better.

I agree on MM2 being over-exploited though.

The thing with Robot Masters still looking the same, each sprite and their different animations are split into 8x8 pixel tiles and it's a tedious work to edit every single one of those to look like a different boss character. At other times, hackers have to expand the ROM size so they can design completely different bosses, find the address location for those bosses and use those instead.

It took a few days to finish my VixyNyan character hack and even that needed a lot of polish so it wouldn't look strange or out-of-place when playing the hack. That includes any pixels that might still be kept from the original MegaMan sprite that isn't supposed to be there.
