I saw that on Facebook while I was shopping with my mom.  I can buy it.

I do appreciate 7 for what it was, though I don't think I will ever like Sephiroth he's just not really engaging to me and I barely understand him at all.  I understand he's supposed to be that way but I just don't understand why he gets all the hype.

I liked Cloud in that game and Crisis Core, but my god I want to kill the Advent Children and Kingdom Hearts version with fire!  He was okay in Dirge of Cerberus, he didn't have much screen time but at least the screen time he had he was a bad ass if I remember correctly.  But the Advent Children and Kingdom Hearts version is nothing like the Cloud I remember, he's not a [tornado fang]ing emo loner person dammit, he's a socially awkward person who doesn't know his identity well, eventually remembers his true self, and becomes his own person and always believes in his friends.  That's the Cloud I know and remember, I know it's a alternate universe sort of thing but I just can't stand it.

I won't defend the KH version, but in Advent Children Cloud had every reason to be mopey, though yeah, he did suffer a bit of a change because shitty writing.
Though you won't believe how much of a difference the extended version of AC makes. Holy [parasitic bomb], those couple more scenes make the movie so much less of a clusterfuck.

Anyway, if I remember right, in AC. There was this sickness that basically killed people. And Cloud caught that too, so he [tornado fang]'d off, because the sickness is contagious and began moping because he knew he's going to die or some [parasitic bomb].
That's how I understood it though.

I personally found Advent Children boring as hell.  I watched a subtitled version ages ago, but when I watched the DVD version I have (which, I guess, doesn't have the extra scenes?) earlier this year, it was just so... damn... boring!  Than god Reno and Rude were there to liven things up now and then.  Those two are hilarious together!

I can understand that but at the same time I just can't buy that.  The Cloud I remember was able to conquer his fears, I can understand if he thought it was his fault because his actions were kind of the cause of what was happening.   The sickness was caused when the Life Stream came to stop Meteor at the end of the game.  

Some of the Stream was apparently infected with Jenova cells and those who came in contact with it were infected with Geo Stigma.  The disease itself however was not contagious, but it was believed to be so.  There's some other crazy biological things involving the disease but you can read it here. http://finalfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Geostigma

I can understand that since Cloud didn't have long to live he may not want to make his friends sad when he died but it just seemed that he just became the shell of the man he used to be.  Though I guess, as you said, it could have been like that because of shitty writing.

Sakura: Well... I see. It's good to be expanding your horizons in vidya department. I suggest simply suggest trying all the various different games, be it western or not.
And since you like JRPG's, I suggest you check out the "Tales of" series if you haven't already. PS3 has Tales of Graces F and soon Tales of Xillia. Those two are in english too (Or in the case of Xillia, it will be in english... or is it already? I'm behind a bit with the news).

They're colorful and stuff. Plus, they have nice battle systems.

Graces f is in english, Xillia isn't out so obviously no english there.

I have Tales of Symphonia Dawn of the New world, I haven't tried it though.

Up until I went and threw all my Wii games onto an HDD for USB Loader purposes, my copy of Symphonia Dawn of the New World was still in its shrinkwrap.

Still haven't played it though, and I've had it since it came out. I still want to beat Symphonia first.

Dammit, why must the Wii have crappy strorage capacity?! Just when fixed one issue with it (concerning the batteries for the remote), now I got another one! Please tell there's a good SD card for this thing that will work; I had to delete Mega Man 10 in order to make room for Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney and Rondo of Blood for La-Mulana, I hate to delete Super Mario RPG or Sin & Punishment or Star Fox 64 later...

Even if you do have an SD card, the Wii Menu doesn't run things from the SD Card Menu unless you have enough space on the Wii to run it due to the idiotic programming choice of copying the thing on the SD card to the System Memory instead of just running off the SD card.

Just transfer ALL your games to the SD Card and then use the SD card option in the bottom corner (firmware version 4.X) and that will still let you play with the expense of extra loading to load the game to Flash Memory before the game starts.

Also I said good things about Final Fantasy VII. Don't you forget the goodness~

Problem is I found one laying around the house and it did not want to work with my Wii. When I inserted it to the system, I got an error message saying "Not compatible" or something with the system.

I think some SDHC cards don't work with the Wii. I had some trouble with a couple of them myself. I finally settled for a small 4GB one.

Nah it was the fact that I was so into handhelds that I didn't play console games that much.  Come to think of it I think the only console game I've ever beaten was Super Mario RPG, I beat other console games but it was their handheld rereleases.
