"Okay, this is total bullshit. And here I thought the first game was a buggy piece of crap..."
So, I'm casually playing through Rockman X2: Soul Eraser, playing, playing, playing along... I get to Sigma Soul Eraser Stage 3. I get to the part where X and Zero go their separate ways. And then I realize something.
"I can't get past this part without the Dash Boots, can I?"
Sure enough, there is a part in Soul Eraser Stage 3-X that is physically impossible to get through without the Dash Boots. Because the game designers thought it was a good idea to make the furthest walls unclimbable, you need to be able to Air Dash to reach a certain platform. There is literally no other way to do it due to the aforementioned unclimbable wall.
Man, it pisses me off when game designers don't account for every possible scenario. How did this get past playtesting? Seriously...
