I loved doing it in SA2B. Doing it in SADX seems like a chore, going to have to get damn animals all the time, Chao Fruit being too scarce in the store. Worst of all I have to do it to get emblems, I would just transfer my Sonic Chao from SA2B if I could, but this unfortunately is the PS3 SADX.

I've never played SA2B, so I wouldn't know. Still, it's a frickin' chore, I agree. I was never all that fond of the Chaos in the first place.

Courage is the Magic that turns Dreams into Reality.

I learned that all things explode in slowmotion if you punch them hard enough.

You may have to be on fire for that to happen, though.

I remember caring for a Chao a number of years and getting its stats up fairly high.

It eventually died ;_;

I don't want to bump one of the old and rotting topics, so I'll post my story here. Yeah, that's that BIG thing.
First, some background. After 7 semesters of studies we have to write a BSc thesis. Actually, it's eng, not bsc; it's complicated. Anyway - create something nice, and write 60 pages about it. It was 1 year ago, I did what I had to do, became an engineer, and that was all. Until this March.
I got a call from my university - "hey yo, we got a TV station to make a short clip about our faculty. We'd like to show them what you did". As I'm not dumb, I agreed. After all, I'm on the last semester of my studies, and I should start to look for a job soon. Showing off in the TV will look sweet in my CV. Few days later everyone could see me in our local TV station! A week later I got an email from university's PR man - "that TV show was great! we want to dig this topic further". After another few days I had an interview to a nation-wide newspaper. It was the main article on the very first page! Today I had another interview for the TV. This time it was for the same local TV station, AND for our national TV. I was in the main news! It's not over yet - I'll have at least 2 more interviews soon.

TL;DR - Suddenly lots of interviews, first page and main TV news. I'm kinda famous now :) Just because I wrote a tiny program, one year ago.

Question. If you're not gonna yaoi paddle someone at an anime convention. Then when are you gonna do it?
And people do run around inappropriately hitting on people all the time. Just ask a girl. Although it would be fun to watch, I don't believe they punch the lights out of the guys. But randomly hitting on anyone in a club is A OK. How can you not expect this kinda stuffs if you're going to an anime con.

Also you said you hated all yaoi fans. I'm telling you that most of them aren't vocal so that you may stop hating the vast majority.

And if you love telling random people you like yaoi, you are being inconsiderate towards those people. Those people have no interest in what you [speed burner] to. They do not care to imagine you [speed burner]ing to girly men.

I'm not under the false impression that I was put onto this earth in order to be kind and considerate towards every living being.

Krystal never passes up and opportunity to make a fu-riend~

Hot diggidy damn, I think that's the THIRD time I heard Ode to Joy in a multi-media franchise this evening. Case in point:

- The Muppets
- NGE
- Charlie Brown's Blanket Ordeal. Yes. Ode To Joy was used when Lucy smaaashed a bust of Beethoven and Ode to Joy came right on cue.

Workshop/DA/YT/Photobucket なにかんがえてるの!?
So its about ass now huh? EVEN THE ASS HAS 'EXCEEDED'!

One mention of LEGENDS and everyone goes batshit.  :\

Yep, every time when someone mentions that game people get energized for an apparent reason whatsoever. It's like this everywhere else, trust me.

It got really messy to find my sprite and comic topic, so it's in my sig.

Nobody is interested in knowing what turns you on. Sorry.

Actually, I love knowing what turns people on. Finding out people's fetishes, turn ons, personal quirks, etc. is one of my favorite things to know about a person. It's great for personal knowledge, comedic value, and overall banter of a jovial nature.

Oh please. Everyone on the board can see that you're clearly into chicks wearing armor except at the crotch area, so that you can hear all the squeaks & clanks of the armor going on and on while you do her!

DX's system sucks because it was built with Chao Adventure 1 in mind. Which was an AWESOME game, and allowed you to be a total boss and level up your chao in awesome ways.

Whats worse is that Sega just completely pushed it aside with the GCN Release, and EVEN FURTHER with the PC/360/PS3/2nd PC Port. Where the VMU that was replaced by a GBA in the GCN version (That still said Chao Adventure on it) Is now a chao head with the words CHAO Name Machine, (Chao still being written in Game Boy Font, silly sega.) You can't even use that thing for anything intresting anymore...

Let's be fair. Sonic Adventure was a wonderful game. The DX port? All of them unnecessary changes, and all that changed within the original game, was changed for the worse. I find myself owning the 360 version, but still playing the Dreamcast version, because it's just BETTER. Less bugs, textures look better, the actual character graphical models look good instead of the shiny crap they've been pulling since Heroes, and the overall game rules.

Well, from what I can tell the Original version has the shininess as well (I'm using NullDC to play it, as I was not fortunate enough to own a dreamcast.) I like the Free Camera of DX, the missions were kinda pointless, but the character models for Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy (Though her new model clipped through the dress a lot.) were really good, they probably would've looked better had they not been flat shaded and shiny. The 60fps doesn't help anybody, but I really liked being able to legitimately own all the Sonic Game Gear Titles in one game (No SMC+, Just the original and Gems.). And the textures are simply clearer on the Dreamcast version, some are completely different though, that rules.

But hell, people could say SA2B was changed for the worse, even though it wasn't changed that much.

SA2B was a much more direct port, to be honest. All it did was improve upon the Chao mechanic and the little-used multiplayer.

While DX adds shininess, but makes it look like an old woman trying to wear a skimpy dress. It just doesn't fit. The old models were much less shiny and smooth. They were older and had more jaggies, but filled the game much better.
