It may not qualify as a chase, probably more of a stalking, but they do go after their prey. Someone on YouTube has an IQ of 3. Wait, that's half the people that post there! O_O

I pretty much have every Pokeymans on my Soul Silver version, so completing my Pokedex isn't a huge issue. I just want a Surfing Pikachu since Pika is a decent special attacker, and the Surfing Pikachu already knows two moves I really love.
