Okay get this, I got it for free because I'm taking this class for a grant.

The conditions are that I have to take the class for 3 years, I have to have a major in agriculture, I had to start as a freshmen or sophomore, and I have to be Hispanic. I also occasionally call it my racist iPad because this. It's a iPad 2 but I'm kinda glad about that because I think iPad 3s are heavier.

It basically teaches you soft skills that are required in a job, there's only 2 sections so far and there's only one guy in it.

Either he was unaware that the class would be dominated by women or knew so beforehand and just wants to pick up chicks.

That reminds me of highschool, during the day before christmas break we could partake in activities, one of them was 'Holiday Baking', which was mostly females with a few guys, though I guess everybody baked cookies in the end anyway.

Nah he's a cool guy, I seriously have no idea why it's so female oriented though. Then again most of the Ag department are part of the animal science majors and that's definitely female dominate. I'm in Plant Science.

Well it's pretty much a whole bunch of things, farming, green houses, turf and a whole mess of other things. There's also Ag Science is for people who want to teach Agriculture in High School and then there's Agri Business which is basically how to run a business in Agriculture or something. All 3 will be merged soon.

Though I do like my school there's a lot to be desired. Because it's an Engineering School there's not a lot of majors or variety. I think the choir program is much smaller than others. I may want to take some classes from the nearby JC later on to learn other things. But the majors we do have have very good program, especially if you're a Math, Engineering, or into Architecture and a good Agriculture program. We also have freaking Hotel Management as a major.

Well, I imagine Hotel Management is tough.

Thankfully my school pretty much has the classes I need to take for my major pretty well lined up, its mostly related to my field with a few general classes strewn in.

My parents originally wanted me to take two years at the Tech College I'm currently attending and then transfer into UW-Stout, but I didn't want to do that on principle that I'd have to move into the dorms, wouldn't be able to have a job, and would probably not fit in well with the kind of assholes that I would probably get stuck with as roommates.

Yeah I was seriously glad when I moved out of the dorms and decided to stay home. I only did it the first year because I wanted to try it and I think they require first years to stay in the dorms at least for the first year.

That's dumb, nobody should have to be forced to stay in dorms if they don't want to.

In my area the dorm housing situation is so bad they have "Dorm Rooms" in the two nearby hotels. Which of course, are just normal hotel rooms and not at all designed to be lived in for 16-weeks in a row.
