Yes, I live in SF. Local sports teams in championships guarantees insanity from the general populi for a while. People got trampled at the victory parade several days afterward and the buses were literally taking hours on routes that usually take 15 minutes due to the blockade of people.

That persisted for 6 hours after the parade. Knowing the reason for Vancouver's current insanity doesn't surprise me in the slightest, having experienced similar craziness myself firsthand.
