OK, so let's try this again.

Out of all characters in the Rockman Universe, Zero is pretty much the one with the most recognized and unique themes, usually a new one per game. So, what's your favorite one out of these?

For myself, it's a pretty hard decision actually. Lots of these are quite awesome themes. But I believe I will still go with the original, with the SNES version of X3 and the Command Mission theme close behind.

Align

Hmm, which is it going to be, there're SO many different cool tunes to choose from...

Flok

I like his opening stage of X4 the most. It embodies the character for me.
Flok's favorites:

Acid

X3.

YEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAH.

I love MMX3. Because of everything.

Protoman Blues

My favorite is still the opening of X3, when he comes busting through the celing, ready to kick some ass!  I'll never forget when I first played that, many moons ago.  To this day, I still thought it was bona-fide bad ass!

Jericho

It's really a toss up between X2's X vs. Zero, X3's Intro, Theme of Zero (Z1) and Area of Zero (Z1). I voted for Theme of Zero (Z1) though due to the fleshing out of one of the most memorable X1 tracks.

Also, a slight chuckle escapes me when I see the Theme of Zero X3 PSX version. They butchered that version horribly.

Bag of Magic Food

Shoot, now I'm going to have to listen to alllllllll those songs before I can decide.  At least you left out the themes from that Extreme cyber command whatever for Game Boy.

Why just listen? Play through the games instead!

Karai

My vote went to Area of ZERO (Z1). For this song I prefer instruments used in game over those from RTRZ.

Police Girl

X4 was my favorite, it was catchy. Unlike X3's...

Uh, did either Cyber Mission or Soul Eraser even have a Zero Theme? I honestly don't know.

Bag of Magic Food

If you read all the story in Cyber Mission, yeah...

Rodrigo Shin

X1's followed by X6's rearrange (fucking appropriate song) and then X3's I guess. I like the beginning of X2's but that is about it.

EDIT: Motherfuckingly stupid bold tag! YARRRR

Music playing during intermissions (ie Cain telling you that he has found the boss lair or whatever) is Zero's theme from X1, in Xtreme 1.

Hypershell

An EXTREMELY tough decision, but I'm going with X2.

X1 and all remixes thereof, as well as X5, also rank high.  Although frankly rare is the Zero theme that I do not consider exceptional (wasn't all that fond of X3's, though).
Also on DeviantArt, Rumble, DLive.tv, and the Fediverse (@freespeechextremist.com and @bae.st)

Rock Miyabi

Add me to the list of people who think X3's was one of the more bland, uninteresting themes of his.

So I'm going with "THEME OF X SERIES - SAVED BY ZERO"

Followed by the original X1 theme, regardless of which remixed version it is. X2 after that.
Previously was K.G. Inafunbags, Captain Heady, Damon Gant, and the guy who liked the blue bomber solely for the reason that he was blue.

Trask

My vote is for Theme of Zero (Z1).  I really thought that was an awesome remixed track to open up the Zero series.  Zero (X1) is my runner-up.

yanmaoption

Where are EXE Transmission Zero themes?
Anyway, my vote is for THEME of ZERO (from Rockman X) (Z1). The best remix of all.

Doesn't count, EXE Transmission Zero isn't the real Zero, so he isn't included. But that track is good, no doubt.

Flame

aw crud. I cant change my vote.
I said Vs Zero X2... but when I think about it, X4 for me...

...When Larry the reploid accountant goes maverick of his own accord, he's certainly formidable during tax season, but he isn't going to provide X the challenge needed to make him grow as a warrior and reach his potential.

megatamx

I like his theme on X5 it's so awesome!

Mirby

My choice: Beamsabre Beat ZEROv2 - Darkesword
It's a mix of his theme from X1, the battle against him in X2, and opening stage in X3. Granted, I don't understand what's actually said, but still awesome.

It starts out with that voice sample of Wily saying "Go, Zero! You're the strongest robot!", then courtesy of one or another "Let's go!" every now and then, then it's him (Zero) yelling at Colonel in the Memorial Hall battle... and something else entirely that I'm guessing should be from X4, as well. It's Okiayu alright at any rate, and I'm happy with that.

Agreed.  Beyond that, it's the most awesome track out of his themes.  I love the solo at around 0:50.  X4 has one of my favorite soundtracks.  The SNES X3 theme he has is pretty cool, too.
