Inafune is not the owner of Megaman. and he is not the only executive producer in the ones he was in.
Plus, Megaman belongs to Capcom, not Inafune. even though he drew him, he drew him for Capcom. what capcom does with Megaman is their call. Inafune only gets his say because he has been involved with Megaman ever since he ws made. As the character designer, he has his say. But if Capcom decides to do something with megaman its their call, not his. Plus, ZXA is a direct reference to X7. Model A, whether it is or is not Axk, is clearly based on Axl. Even if it does not have his soul, Albert clearly based it on him regardless, ability and appearance wise. Personality as well. Plus Red's face is outright shown on the Raider Airship. which is an X series cameo, just like all the cameos in the original ZX. (and ZXA has its fair share too.)
think about it, in X8 Orbital elevators were first created. in XCM, there were more. in the Zero series, all important Neo Arcadian facilities, such as governmental ones, are located aboard stationary satellites reachable via orbital elevator. the orbital elevator in Z1 used to be an orbital elevator, but was damaged during the war, and so, it was hollowed out, and filled with traps and enemies to fool would be intruders. in Z3, in area X-2, there is a part where the wall becomes transparent, showing clouds, and dozens of other pillars towering into the sky along with the one you are in. Those are other orbital elevators.
likewise, the Copy ability was developed some time before X7, Prototyped by Axl. in X8, the full new generation reploids with the perfected Copy ability appear. Sigma made sure his DNA was included in their database, and therefore, exploited a loophole in their inability to go maverick. His DNA is already in there, so they already are maverick. they share his way of thinking by inheriting his DNA, and basically, become not just mavericks, but his equals. they are defeated in X8. years later, in Command mission, Redips and his soldiers at his base, are all new gens as well. as indicated by X's "years later" copy chips were once again in production" redips is an awakened newgen. he is defeated. and it is likely it is not over either.
in ZXA, we see Master Albert, a human with a mechanical body. but then we meet his real mechanical body, which contains a copy chip, giving him the copy ability. He plans to become a God by using his copy ability in connection with Model W's eating of souls to control all life. Noted by him being able to not just "copy" but turn INTO the bosses when you meet himthe first time in ouroboros.
he also created Model A, with the same copy ability.
This is an ability that is deeply rooted in the X series, introduced in 7 and 8, and XCM. how are they not Canon?
