Sorry for raising dead, but I just thought af a very horrible thing...
trying this very challenge...
in Hard mode. 8D
I have done it in Hard Mode twice already (Both Grey and Ashe). Only model A throughout the game (boss battles incuded) 8)
However, after defeating a boss, the game forces me to transform to move on, so...

He's talking about the 8-bit Model a, not Model A.

Opps, my bad, he said model @ so I thought... :P
Will try it, seems pretty annoying when fighting those midboss already 8)

Edit: I just tried defeating Chronoforce in Hard Mode with only model a (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7heMfc7NpSo) :)

Model @ is used to refer to 8 bit Modle A, since simply typing a lowercase a could be misinterpreted as a typo on forgetting to press the shift key.

...When Larry the reploid accountant goes maverick of his own accord, he's certainly formidable during tax season, but he isn't going to provide X the challenge needed to make him grow as a warrior and reach his potential.

Yes, sorry about that :)

BTW, using Model a against Aeolus is kind of impossible in Hard mode, I can't find out a way to avoid his double sonic boom O_O

it was a joke when I said Hard mode. its pretty impossible to do in hard mode. its hard enough to do it in normal mode.
