It's what we could've gotten instead of Edgeworth.

In an interview with Siliconera, Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth producer Motohide Eshiro revealed that Miles wasn't exactly the first choice in mind for the upcoming Ace Attorney spin off. That would actually be Ema Skye, everyone's favorite snackoos addict.

"The director originally proposed to use Ema as the main character," Motohide Eshiro, Producer. "But, according to the feedback we got from our fans it seems Edgeworth was the more popular character. So we decided to listen to the fans and use the more popular character."

He goes on to say that if he had to choose, he'd want to see a spin off based around Ace Attorney's most underpaid character, Dick Gumshoe.

Hey...We may get another GK game!

The original information source is 4Gamer.
It's an interview of the GK making group staffs.


The most imporant thing we can learn from the interview is:

Yamazaki's(the director) original plan was moving the stage outside of the court,game players can investigate crime scenes and deduce as a detective,and the main character was supposed to be Ema Skye.However, Eshiro(the producer) vetoed his plan,because at the first sight he read the plan, Edgeworth jumped into his mind.


And

Have you decided what you will do in the future?
Eshiro:We didn't only make GK as a subsequent story of GS, but also a spin off series.Considering the reaction from the game fans, we will probably make another GK game.


About GS 5:

Many fans are looking forward to GS5, can we learn anything about it?
Eshiro: I talked to Mastukawa(the producer of GS series) and offered to take part in making GS5 as well.

A game with Ema Skye as the main character? Hmm...

Interpol investigator Shiryuu Rou has been confirmed as "Shi-Long Lang," which is actually just the Chinese reading of the kanji in his Japanese name.

From screenshots we can also see that Zinc's last name is Leblanc (probably to avoid any connection to "Redd White") and Ichiru's is Teneiro. It appears they've left "Yatagarasu" as is.
