Well, after a dry spell of no updates, I think it's time to dust this off for a little bit.

First off, I've been working on a Pokedex of Fake Pokemon, or Fakemon, as they're more commonly called. All I've got drawn so far are the starters.

Grass:

Twigger, Forestiger, Jungliger

Fire:

Salember, Blazander, Salamagma

Water:

Duqua, Swaqua, Craqua

And now, for future plans.

I've recently discovered that you can legally sell games that you make on RPG Maker VX, so I'm going to be focusing on making an RPG for a while. If nothing else, this plan is a good means of practice. So, any non-copyright-infringing ideas would be helpful.

As the topic now says, just the design for the MPR version of Sapph: Iron Knight.

For those who remember, MPR was the 'Alternate RPM' I introduced when I attempted to revive the comic jams. I've decided that, since it's died and the idea is still good, I'm going to refresh and continue it. First, though, I'm going to be making the MPR designs for everyone who's showing up in it, al of whic I'll be posting here as I finish them, so keep your eyes open folks~

The characters featured are original characters of me and a certain friend of mine (who I will be going into greater detail about later).

So, as I mentioned in the latest incarnation of the 'What are you thinking now?' thread, I am working on a Pokemon RPG project (mainly for more practice with RPG maker). Not sure what to call it yet, but it's situated in a world where it's just pokemon, no humans (man-made pokemon like Mewtwo and Porygon would've come about through different means) and the map is based on Hoenn (specifically, Emerald version).

Story
In the distant land of <insert name here>, all is peaceful. However, nature seems to be out of balance, as pokemon lost the ability to evolve. Hiro, a young absol living in a small, peaceful town, has sensed the odd disturbance and is off to visit the gods to discover what is happening. However, he and those who gather to follow him must prove themselves worthy of entering the Hall of the Gods while fending off the Soul Stealers, who have been mercilessly killing and stealing the souls of unsuspecting travelers.

Characters (the names are not final and not all of them have descriptions)
Hiroyoshi- A young absol who awoke one morning with an ominous feeling, and left his home to find out the source.
Niko- A meowth that is Hiro's best friend. He joins the adventure because it's dangerous for Hiro to go alone, and he wishes to be able to evolve, an ability that was taken from him by the imbalance of nature.
Molly- A granbull who joins the adventure so that her children would one day be able to evolve.
Goku- A monferno that's simply bored and out for some fun. He doesn't really care if he evolves or not. The rest of the party thinks he named himself that after a character from a particular story.
Arata- A grovyle who aspires to be a castle guard.
Elvis- An old blastoise with plenty of combat experience.
Berit- An electabuzz who feels a moral obligation to help wherever she is needed.
Nevada- A froslass who was the leader of a tribe living on a distant island. However, after attempting to see the gods on her own, she was banished until she could prove herself worthy to lead her people once again.
Kella- Skarmory
Chance- Pidgeot
Batu- A lucario that is one of Princess's vassals. He gets sent to help.
Earnest- Marowak
Devlin- Arbok
Rogue- Scyther
Astrid- Pupitar
Guido- Shelgon
Avidan- A dusclops who was once a soul collector, whose duty it was to guide the dead to the afterlife. He seeks justice against the Soul Stealers, who he believes were soul collectors that corrupted their duties.
Princess- A white Mew that lives in the castle. She doesn't seem to have many friends though.

It stands at about 1 foot tall.
