The coding for the Astro Crush is all wrong. You're suppose to watch for where astroman teleports to, to figure out where it's not going to strike. In this, it just comes down everywhere!

It isnt 8 without the shop... That made it feel very unique. Finding Bolts and choosing what you want badly enough. It isnt 8 without the special Rush calls. The team really has not learned anything from 9 and 10. (in regards to the shop I mean.)

I honestly didn't like MM9's shop system all too much; more or less because you couldn't really find the stuff on your own, so you had to farm to get what you wanted.  I rarely ever saw an E-Tank lying on the ground, for instance.  That and half of the items were pointless, anyway.  Now that I think about it, I haven't even tried half of the items in the shop to begin with.  I'm generally fine with just the Energy Balancer.

I think MM8's shop was spot-on.  Bolts could simply be found in a limited quantity, and it was pretty much up to you how you spent them.  It was nice to see the game actually allow you to strengthen your own personal style of playing.  MM7's was pretty nice as well, mainly because you could simply find everything on your own, anyway.  If you got frustrated because you couldn't find something, you could just head to the shop and look there.

Having rush coil would make tornado hold almost completely useless though. The only time you really need rush jet is for the flying sections, and that more than makes up the lack of it for me. Plus, Rush Cycle was a lot of fun to play with, and Rush Health worked better than Eddie.

And there is always the possibility that they probably don't know how to make a shop for the game, rather than just not wanting to.

At the very least they could allow you to find the items from the shop.  IIRC they pulled that in RM7FC, so I don't see why they couldn't implement that here.  Of course, there are quite a few items to hide, so I'm not sure exactly how they'd go about balancing that out.  Maybe they could just keep the H. Speed Charge, Arrow/Laser Shot, Exit Part, Energy Balancer, Exchanger, and Energy Saver and simply ditch the rest.

Erm...Time Man wasn't in Megaman 8.  You may be thinking of the Cutman/Woodman battles.

RM8FC has Timeman/Oilman in place of Woodman/Cutman. And you get their weapons as well I think, in place of Rush Cycle and Rush Bomber I think.
