Since anime is mostly grimdark whiney nowadays I'd like to show that Japan had a lighter side -- with foul-mouthed turtles!

Yes, but somehow they were a worldwide hit and ended up in the hands of MIRAGE studios.. I think.

For the love of god, would you do the research before you talk? Mirage is the name of the creators (and former owners as of recently) of the TMNT property.
