I dunno, most older or halfway mature anime fans are probably too self-deprecating to cause major uproar.

Though admittedly I didn't actually watch the above video because what I saw of the original parody looked like The Onion's one Warcraft article from years ago. Nothing new.

I'm not really impressed-the jokes seem kind forced, I'll give the second one a chance later and see if they improve their humor at all. Right now it seems like a dud though.

I'll wait until episode 5 until I call it. Doesn't help that I'm not really a fan of 7 and think Sephiroth is one of the worst FF villians ever.

These two antagonists of Final Fantasy 14 are FAAAAR more interesting than Sephiroth, and both are politicians and Lalafels to boot who are about as intimidating as a hobbit--let that sink in.

In terms of the Main Series I say Golbez, Exdeath, Kefka and Kuja are some of the best for varying reasons. One of the reasons I want a remake of 6, not only for an expanded script, but is to see if they give Kefka some more screen time.

Exactly I want more of that in the World of Ruin than him just sitting on his throne of trash. I mean I know that the World of Ruin is supposed to be more about finding your friends and all but I wish we had more Kefka even though it would be impossible.

That scene with Charlotte was downright depressing. This show is barely a comedy now.

Like someone pointed out, whenever they do actually use f-bombs, it's for dramatic scenes. Because of that, there is more impact.

Unlike other adult comedies, where they swear all the time, just because they can.

Wow, Jimmy was pretty disrespectful towards Markiplier. I know he's a "comedian", but some comments towards Mark went too far.

You can easily tell he holds resentment towards the gaming community, even though these two have not wronged him in any way.

The point is that he doesn't. It's like his mother said in that one episode that he's doomed to having a shitty existence.
The point is that he has to try his best to make his life a little bit better. That was the running metaphor at the end of the season. Clinging to the past like he has the past two seasons has been toxic and this was the culmination of all that.

That's a very good assessment.

Even if, by some miracle, his life miraculously turns around for the better, I don't think I'd truly root for him. So I guess kudos to the creators for making a total dick protagonist.

Mr. Peanut Butter, surprisingly, ended up being one of my favorites. I hated him in the beginning, but he grew on me. I like Todd, as well, and I'm not just saying that because he's Aaron Paul.

... Though, Aaron Paul is the reason I started this in the first place. Will Arnett was my second reason.
