After playing and beating Mega Man X3 again today, I wonder whatever happen to Doppler Town? Was it dismantled or was it abandoned? Whatever happened to all the cities in the X series in general?

It was probably either dismantled or nuked when the Sky Lagoon or Eurasia crashed.

Tourism to the region kinda died out due to what Doppler did. Nothing important happens there anymore. Beautiful scenery, though.

Who knows really. After all, since there's not much source material on what happens to every town mavericks hit or take control of, everything is speculation to an extent, amirite?

1. Doppler Town took a beating in X3.

2. It was the temporary home of the Maverick Hunters, but moved out when Able City was rebuilt ("centuries" passed for the humans, and Doppler Town  was long forgotten by then).

3. It was RIGHT on the spot where Sky Lagoon crash landed.

4. Eurasia slaughtered the remains.

5. Since the Nightmare Incident, it has been under quarintine for quite some time.

That's about it.

It´s useless to debate about dopplertown. As far as I can remember, was dopplertown only mentioned in the intro of X3. After that, it was no longer relevant for the game.
It is almost the same with Gate. Both are now in limbo.
