See, that's where you and I differ, my friend.  I love over-the-top [parasitic bomb] like this, whether in cartoons, tv, movies, or even music.  There are certain things in life that I think are so awful, they become awesome.  YuGiOh is absolutely one of them, because the story, plot, and characters are already over-the-top.  All 4Kids did was add over-the-top voice acting to it, and it was SO bad, it made me want to play the card game just so I could yell out DARK MAGICIAN, and duel in an over-the-top manner!

Uhh, no I don't. You might want to think about the OVER 9000 fad that was started by the early DBZ dubs.. they can generate more memes than 4Kids, ADV, and others combined.

Other than that, it's not that big of a deal, but who in the right mind would forget that they (4Kids) dubbed Fighting Foodons or the likes of Beyblade, Shaman King, etc is beyond me (I used to collect those tops back in the day). They've dubbed more than Sonic X too (someone correct me on this, it's the last time I've seen another anime dubbed by them since Kirby).

No one said it wasnt. 4Kids has good VA's, (IMO. They actually act pretty well.) its the edits that are made that kills the popularity.

I'm surprised that 4Kids Entertainment is getting brought out. I mean, yes I do hate some of the dubs and all, but I remembered that 4Kids dubbed Pokemon and Kirby, but things went downhill afterward ever since they edited a lot of stuff out on Anime. But it's a quite shame for those people who were getting laid-off, due to financial crisis. This happened to DiC Entertainment as well, when it was been defunct by Cookie Jar Entertainment last year.

Yet I still dont understand why folks bash Pollock. Is it because he's 4kids? Is that IT? I mena, he does a great Eggman voice.
actually, I dont mind any of the voices. the only one that peeves me juuust a little is Shadow. he sounds just a touch too whispery. his SA2/SH voice was his best. dark, yet not too much.
