Hmm, strange this is this idea strikes me as being a bit more toned down than what some of the concept art seemed to be going for. Either way, I'm sold now, especially on the platforming bit. The idea of etching, drawing, and especially erasing portions of level are freaking genius.

Disney has announced to the press that they will be announcing a new "iconic" video game very soon. In the latest Game informer issue there was an Ad by Disney that also revealed that "something epic" was coming.

But will it be another kingdom hearts game? No, probably not. A few months ago, concept art for a game called "Epic Mickey" was leaked. The game looks very dark, twisted and insane, and it actually looks, well... epic! It takes place in a steam-punk setting and is based on the strange imagination of Walt Disney.

The game will be a Wii exclusive and gamers will use the Wii remote to "paint, etch, and erase whole and parts of levels".

Please note: This is not a trailer for the game. It's just the concept-art compiled together. The storyline mentioned in the clip of Mickey mouse "committing suicide" is merely a guess at the storyline based on an old idea by Walt Disney. The storyline has not been confirmed yet. [/paste]

I don't care if the story behind any of this is true or not, if those images were actually leaked by the Disney Company and were for a game, then holy [parasitic bomb] O.o Even if the entire thing is fake, those are some [tornado fang]'d up images someone drew.

Also, I dunno about you guys but I found that... bear scorpion robot thing way creepier than grim reaper Mickey.
