watching what few episodes are out for Initial D Fifth Stage right now.

I'm liking the song choices so far and uh yeah. Episode 4 got a bit dumb in that they suddenly brought in this concept of the lead character Takumi having these rare occurrences of getting crazy boosts in speed that even the wise leader guy just simply says are impossible. It's presented visually as a small teleport pretty much. I am really not sure what to think about it. Also they call it the "Fujiwara Zone" after Takumi's surname and I just cannot take that seriously. If it were anything but a street racing anime with plenty of in depth technical discussions then this probably wouldn't bother me much at all.

Forgot to put it here a few days ago, but I wrapped up Sword Arts Online. Was it great? Nope. OST was okay but for the most part and the plot was a bit shaky, even towards the end Fairy Dance arc. But comes with most anime is the characters, and I find them forgettable for the most part, even with the new ones down the road. I think the art direction.. swear I've seen it before but oh well. It was amusing when they went the Rockman.EXE route and made any refrences to blood crimson data strains, so that was clever. So yeah, if you are into MMO anime I'd say give this one a go. If not, I'd say there are better ones than this out there. Givin' it a 4/10.

Okay, now that I've finished the series, It's probably the second best shounen fighting anime I've seen. It really does make DBZ look mediocre in comparison.

Alright, I gave Zeta Gundam another shot, and I'm starting to get into it. I just finished watching episode 14. I can safely say that this is not so bad. I also watched MSG 0080:War in the Pocket and MSG 0083: Stardust Memory before trying to watch Zeta Gundam again. Both pretty neat OVAs.

I should only feel bad if the characters were too boring, and too annoying to bare, when I'm trying to understand the plot, though. It's not my fault when a character's inner charm persuades me to watch their anime. Besides, the ending theme from the first season is adorable to listen to.
