Haven't updated in a while. Let's see.

I finished You're Under Arrest Full Throttle and Maria Holic Alive. Almost done with the dubs of Demon King Daimao and Clannad After Story. Started Hidamari Sketch Hoshimitsu. And the X-Men anime started up on G4 last night. Wolverine looks a little off, but maybe that's just cause I'm used to the other anime Wolverine. At least it's Steve Blum this time. Storm's new look, though, holy [parasitic bomb]. After that they showed Viper's Creed. Don't know what to make of that yet.

Also watched Mardock Scramble. Kinda interesting, but the ending kinda confused me. Maybe cause I was starting to fall asleep 5/6 of the way through.

And I'm about a third of the way through MM!. The jokes get tired sometimes, but this is still a pretty funny show. The characters are the main draw. Everyone is [tornado fang]'d up someway or another. Sadists, masochists, voyeurs, crossdressers, incestuous mother and sister. It's mostly played for laughs, but there are some genuine serious moments where characters actually get to deal with their problems a bit. And the opening song is infectious. The hilarious gratuitous engrish helps.

The latest episode was mostly Saber/Gilgamesh centric, so even though there wasn't any fighting, it was very interesting. And I was totally caught off guard when Bill Clinton popped up on Waver's TV screen.

(re-watching) DBZ (subbed). Is it me, or does Piccolo have a derpy moment during the first closeup? One eye looked a bit higher up than the other. I must be seeing things.

Watched some anime called Colorful.

Random as hell, and honestly not terribly funny. There were some scenes here and there that made me chuckle, some will make you go WTF, but overall it's ok. Overly perverted, but not nearly as good as Kanokon.

I haven't seen Colorful in ages. But even back then I didn't like it. There's better perverted [parasitic bomb].

Speaking of which I finished MM! No resolution to anything in the plot, but you know how these shows work. And I don't think there were enough shenanigans with Taro's mother ans sister. Still a funny show though.

I'm also checking out Ray the Animation and giving To-love-ru another shot.

Fate/Zero. I summarized what happened so far, and it's quite intresting how they handled the series' maturity without the series' titular characters so far. Around 05:25, I feel that was good enough, and to take a break. This anime feels long, but I'll adjust to it sometime when I get around to finishing it, I'm used to 05:00 being the halfway point in (most) anime, it's pretty long. (around 42:00 I belive for the first half at Anime44, I'd dread watching it on youtube with this string of parts!) (LORD) Kiritsugu was a good way to kick the episode off though.

After Many years of shunning it for no good reason other than intolerance for lots of talking in my TV shows when I was a kid, i've finally decided to start watching Gundam. Starting from the very beginning, eventually working my way up through what is available to me (Eventually I'll end up hitting Wing, when I can finally put my headache-filled adolescence of watching Toonami only to do something else because Gundam or a WB Animated Series, not just action series, came on and shortly after I miraculously got a [tornado fang]ing headache, can be put to rest.)

I should be more clear on what series I will be watching:

Do yourself a favor and avoid SEED: Destiny, if you can. I got a lot of memories thanks to a cop-out episode.

That's what I don't get sometimes about anime and it's producers. Gainax seem like heartless trolls until you watch their earlier work. Another western comparison is My Little Pony, due to similar reaction from fans and conception (in a sense of the formation of the production team, not the show itself), I wouldn't take it too seriously.

In other news, I just watched Fairy Tail last night. Latest episode felt like a total filler..
