I only just finished the last quarter of DGM after... 3 years (?) of me not being able to get it. 'Disappointing' was exactly how I felt about it, now that I'd just seen the end of the anime.

Just finished both seasons of Natsume Yuujinchou. I have to say this is one of my most favorite animes. I love the calmness of it and its animation never failed to amaze me. I can't wait for season 3.

Just watched Evangelion 2.22. Wow. That was crazy. Also finished the second series of You're Under Arrest. It ended on a nice note, but I imagine just like from series 1 to 2, Ken and Miyuki's relationship will be back to square 1 in series 3. And I've now seen up to Episode 6 dubbed of Highschool of the Dead. It's creative take on the script has officially won me over. One line in particular in ep6. I'm not going to spoil it, but it's kind of like Kyon's "Super Size Me!" in the Haruhi dub in that it's American popculture and you don't see it coming at all.

Watching a handful of new anime that started airing recently. Deadman Wonderland and Ao no Exorcist are shaping up to be really entertaining. Deadman's beginning felt rushed, but i'm loving the dark atmosphere that the show has.

Well, I totally enjoyed Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica. While the ending left me a bit off, it still was a great anime with top-notched anime and storytelling. I hope someone finishes this anime so I can discuss the last... "details"...

[spoiler=Ending for Series of MSMM]So instead of witches, there are demons stemmed from the curses of the world. Madoka erased the existence of witches, meaning all the Puella Magi that have became Witches, were erased (including Sayaka). This also means the Puella Magi simply disappear if their time is up, I think? Finally, There will be a second series for the kickass way that Homura decided to appear after the credits, in order to maybe save Madoka... My hypothesis.[/spoiler]

[spoiler=Other people's interpretation that I agree with]Madoka pretty much becomes a force of nature/a moe loli version of the grim reaper for magical girls and retcons history so that no magical girl ever turned into a witch by purifying and disappearing their soul gem before they become a witch and die. Becaue of that she retconned herself out of existence too so nobody really remembers her other than Homura. The new fixed timeline is overall better and magical girls don't suffer as much and actually get to fight for what they believe instead of pretty much just being cattle. In the ending scene, Homura is pretty much at the end of her life (notice corrupted wings), which is why she finally hears Madoka again, they're about to reunite.[/spoiler]
