It does have some fast action in some places. ^^

That brings back memories. It looks great so far, although I find that the rocket boosts could stand to have a little more oomph to them.

Well, they could've gone with sprites, oh well. it's a trailer so there will be most likely changes.

Yep, every time when someone mentions that game people get energized for an apparent reason whatsoever. It's like this everywhere else, trust me.

According to previews, it pretty much plays exactly like the old games. Take that, combined with some of the most awesome graphics I've seen in a 2D game, and we got ourselves some epic. I can't wait to play this.

Playing it right now.

IT'S FACKING AWESOME.

Controls are pretty much improved from Rocket Knight Adventures 2: Sparkster, level design is good, and so far, the whole game is incredibly beautiful. This is pretty much the best "2D/3D Sequel of an old game" I've seen so far.

It was released on the 11th on Steam, day earlier than it was said to be.
So I got to play it all night last night.

Didn't get to beat it, had to go to bed.
But it was great all the way through.

And my PS2 controller worked without having to mess with configs!

It was pretty easy on normal difficulty, I ended arcade mode with 14 lives and not once using a continue.
I'll have to take a shot at hard mode and see if it's really all that hard or not.

Also know where lots of hidden extra lives etc. are now, so it'll be easier than trying a blind run on hard mode, that's for sure.

Game might be easier than the previous titles, but it achieves this really fantastic balance between easy and hard. It's a game with a "current gaming dificulty", but with a fantastic gameplay, graphics, level design, etc. This is a five-star game for me, and so far, the very best of these "new incarnation sequel" games that try to emulate the old times. Playing this really made me feel like the old times had come back. It was simple FUN.
