RM8FC is impossible to mod (for now), i intent too with the dark translation program, and after it when is descompressed all that is in the file is erased.  

but, if you want to do a mod, there is a game that can be mod. is rosenkreuzstilette, a megaman parody with some hot girls. first i recommend that you download and beat it, after, search in google "rks data archive decoder" and put the third link. there is a link for the rks data archive decoder, and a complete tutorial, include how to change the music (here is more easy, because now the music isnt pptune, is ogg). im modding this game too, and that all i can say, it fits very good. im thinking to do a sequel of my game (Dark saturn 7) with this game (DarkSaturn rks) and another notice !!!now isnt 8 bit obligatory!!! the image archive are png!!!!

(note: if you want to change a song to ogg, use total video converter, and see some others program to cut off the music, and change the normal volume, this is soo important, because if you dont want to see a very big time with silence in the stage, or you see that one song are very strongly that another song. it pass to me)

I have made a (to me ) complete sheet for a playable Bass, and wanted some opinions on it.

i like it, but the music is [parasitic bomb], the graphics aren't done and there isn't anything really redeeming about it. i will give great amounts of praise to gaia and lizard, they're the real artists, i couldn't sprite my way out of a paper tent

Anyone know how to change the music in the game?

I only managed to change Slash Man's into Search Man because it seems fitting and I hate Slash Man's theme

If would you had searched this topic, you would have found this:

Just download some PTTUNE files and rename the same as whatever song you want to replace. For example, you have a PTTUNE version of Storm Eagle's stage music and you want to use that for Cloud Man's stage, rename that Storm Eagle PTTUNE file to cloud.pttune and then place that into the BGM folder.

I think this is the link with the PTTUNE songs. Hopefully, the link still works.

no, you can take other songs and use those. You just have to do the thrilling task of pulling an annoying yellow bar to where you want your song to loop.

I officially finished my Rockman 2: Metal Man vs Rockman! mod.

And I replaced Freeze man with Ra Thor in my other Rockman 7 mod

The bosses and changes:

Ra thor's stage is red and Black showing that he destroyed it. His theme is replaced with Rockman8fc's Wily Battle theme to show that rockman has to defeat him RIGHT NAO
Oil Man
Time Man
Nitro Man
Bubble Man
Tornado Man
Slash Man has Search man's theme.
Rockman? Replaces Forte 1st battle
Super adapter Forte has mm10 sprites
Normal Rockman has a dash instead of a slide

Ra Thor is a Evil "Robot Master" and Freeze Man's theme doesnt fit well
