Still, admittedly, the Capcom side of the roster is a bit "weird" to say the least.

It is rather surprising that, in the end, no one from the likes of Monster Hunter and/or Sengoku BASARA made it this time (even though Masamune WAS considered). Two of Capcom's major franchises in this modern day era, and both of them slated to be leaning towards the "Wii" side of the equation, at that, yet, neither of them made representation.

If TvC2 does indeed get a sequel, I'm hoping that 80-90% of this "didn't quite make it list" makes the cut next time around, plus more.

If decent netcode is included in the US release, that will definitely be all the more reason for me to buy this game....again.

Probably. Wouldn't be surprised if this was one of those two "surprises" Capcom talked about for their E3 press release either.

Well....that's one way to make up for MvC2 not being on the Wii.

See, it has to be GOOD Netcode, imo.

After getting fairly spoiled by GGPO, HD remix and the possibilities that are to come with BB and KOFXII...it would make me highly annoyed if TvC got some janky netcode.

Now, those who paid high prices and modded their console for the single purpose of playing this game, or bought a Japanese Wii for it, you can laugh at those

Plus, there's nothing to be said about how the game may have indeed been changed, some how, in this transition. Characters may have been taken out and swapped for some one else. Music may have been changed. Until we get more details, there may be more to this particular product than just a simple translation...

that's still importing. and it's still more expensive than just buying an American copy for your American Wii. though really, why would you pay to hardmod your Wii?

and to those that did import a Japanese Wii SOLELY to play this game, i don't laugh at them. i pity them.

No, I'm saying that because it's a perfectly legit "concern", as it were.

At "best", we may just have music altered or taken out. At "worst", some Tatsunoko characters that were in the original game may have been taken out and/or replaced, because nothing could have been done about them on the legal front.

I mean, it's not like it's any serious skin off my nose, in any case. If there's enough of a compelling case to be made, then I'll double-dip with the quickness. If not, then I still have my original copy of the game, which I've been able to enjoy for almost half a year now. No fuss, no muss.
