And what do you expect when you send out Darkrai against a standard team? You expect people to hang around when you've just sent out something which is pretty much guaranteed to cripple or kill their half their guys before they can stop it? Try using pokemon that people can actually fight back against and maybe they'll hang around longer.

Okay , first of all this is just pokemon , and second of all its a game. So I actually dont run from cheaters and better-then-average pokemon. I mean really , Isnt it better to have fought and loss then to be a whimp and run? Also its good to use strong pokemon , it does mean your a smart enough trainer to level up one.
And yes. I also too have a few legends on my main party...

Legendaries really aren't as hard to kill as everyone makes them out to be. Most of them have crippling flaws and any normal can take them out with a good fake-out strategy. I only use two or three legendaries on my team currently (Zapdos, Darkrai and Manaphy) with Infernape, Alakazam and Umbreon being the other usual three (but others are available I can switch to without warning.) No EV training going on here, so I'm sure someone who cares enough to do that garbage can easily dispatch my team... but oh my, how would they ever know if they're too cowardly and throw red flags because I don't play by their rules? It's a pitiful as when people complain that I pick a "banned" stage in Brawl or play with items/final smashes on. Just shut up and play the game.

I kind of don't get why everyone's going "ZOMG GS REMAKES!!!!111lol1!". I mean, sure, we may actually be able to legally obtain Celebi, but at this point, I don't think a lot of people care. I'd only be hyped if they're remaking it once the 5th gen comes up, and they put 5th gen Pokemon in it. THAT seems worth it.

i am in 100% disagreement with you here. because its a GSC remake, it should have the 251 Pokemon from those games, and ONLY those 251, maybe letting evolutions that were introduced later on slide by.

and i am in 2000% disagreement with waiting to add another 100 Pokemon. i'm in the minority (probably) that thinks Pokemon has gotten too big, especially when it comes to the Pokedex. there's just too many of them,a dn too many that are just lame compared to the older ones. RSE introduced a LOT of the stinkers for me. DPP handled a little better there, what with some genius ideas like Magnezone, but it still used too many animals that have already been represented.

You're definitely not in the minority, it's definitely gotten too big. I mean, there are over 500 Pokemon now and they even had to go as far as to make a (literally) god Pokemon, I dare anyone to tell me that's not too much =/

I'm of the opinion that if they want to continue Pokemon, then they have to start from 0 again. Make another 150/151 Pokemon, but leave all of the previous Pokemon out of the game because I definitely don't want to catch 600+ Pokemon =/

I 100% disagree.  Pokemon is a series about collecting, as well as cute things battling to the Pokedeath.  I honestly want them to continue releasing new Pokemon, cause who knows when I'll find another 'mon to train and have battle to the Pokedeath.  If need be, don't make as many Legendaries in a game, seeing as how we've covered pretty much every aspect they can cover.

I agree with you, but do you honestly want 600+ Pokemon? They can keep making new ones while keeping the number relatively small.

Also, forgot to post my reason for why a GSC remake is so important. IMO, to this day, GSC is still the best generation for a number of reasons. The number of Pokemon was just right, there were plenty of little but nice things (Mystery gift, decorating your room, catching contest, radio, making your own pokeballs,etc.), the time and date was actually used for something other than catching different pokemon during the day/night, and the big ones, you could revisit the old region, fight the Kanto gym leaders including a now gym leader Blue/Green and different leaders, and fight Red in an epic battle.

Ok, after seeing all your comments on what a GSC remake should be...
I have to agree that staying true to the original 251 is the right way to go, barring the DPPt-introduced evolutions.
And I do agree that GSC was the forerunner for all the features in-game that we see today, so maybe add a bit more flavour?
One such flavour is the GS Ball. Seriously, I want to see this properly used in-game, to summon Celebi as in the original Japanese version.

As for the rest, more Pokemon is always welcomed, although the legendaries are going to be harder to think off due to the appearance of tha alpha-god Pokemon Arceus, but hey!
Gamefreak has always surprised us, maybe... Ehh... *shrugs*

GSC should have the ability to go to the different lands and catch version specific ones, which I had no idea if DPP had this but i couldn't bloody tell. I do like that aspect of having to ask friends for certain ones and trading and whatnot and I couldnt tell anyway.

DPP did not really thrill me. Felt like more of an addon than anything else.

Since Dunsparce has an item of it's own, evolve it with that item next title too. Maybe a sequel to Pokemon TCG 1+2, it's been loooonng overdue anywhoo, you skipped a generation or two.

And give Machop a baby and a female form, it's the closest thing to a human since Gardevoir.. but please make it have gender specific than having it appear the same.. X.X;
