Hey does anyone have an idea what would be better a Jynx with all Special Attacks or a Mamoswine with Rest, Sleep Talk, Avalanche, Earthquake and low speed or any combination of attacks?

Jynx dies way too easily. She's like Porygon-Z, except even more fragile, and less killy. Mamoswine is way cooler. 130 base attack and STAB Earthquake/Ice Shard, yeeeeeeeeees.

Therefore your statement is invalid. :P

Why waste watts on a surfing mouse when I already have one?

Man, if only they had released the Yellow Forest earlier. I walked so much on wednesday that by the end of the day I literally had thousands of watts -__-

My life is currently bears and Jojos and everything is great.

Lunar Knight Zeke

I finally got Entei and Raikou. I also beat the E4, so I'm pretty much halfway through the main game. Now I'm gonna start EV training some pokemon to take into the Kanto region.

And on the subject of the yellow forest, I hate how they set up the encounter rate for surfing/flying pikachu. Although, I got a lightball out of it, so all that walking wasn't a total waste.

I prefer that Jynx.

Okay so no one knows.

Okay, I need help thinking of nicknames for some of my pokemon. I named my Feraligatr Gatorzilla, but seriously, it needs a better name >_>, and then there's my Murkrow (female btw) which I have absolutely no idea how to name.

My life is currently bears and Jojos and everything is great.

I burned about 1,500 watts in Yellow Forest yesterday.  The sad thing is, having encountered 6 or more rare Pikachus (you can tell by how many steps grass-chases it takes to find them, thankfully), I caught only 2.  That Critical Hit rate has *GOT* to be rigged.

Anyways, wound up with one each of Volt Tackle, Surf, and regular Pikachus.  Still looking for Flying.

"Better" depends on what exactly you're trying to do.

I will say, though, I tried the Rest/Sleep Talk combination once, with Shuckle, and vowed to never try it again.  There's every chance in the world that Sleep Talk will choose Rest, thus wasting your turn anyway.  For all the flak that tournament players give against "luck-based" tactics (evasion/accuracy, King's Rock, etc.), I'm amazed that strategy passes as acceptable.

I would call Mamoswine the overall better Pokemon, (definitely the best Ice Shard user, although so much so that your opponent will probably expect it).  Jynx's defense is simply terrible; she's toast in the face of any physical attack.  But she does possess the 2nd strongest STAB Ice Beam (Glaceon being the strongest), so she could make a mean Choice Scarf revenge killer.

You think you got it bad? My Cyndaquil has the shittiest name in existence (Pyroburn), And I didn't even bother giving my Pidgey a nickname. :|

At least you have enough letters.  I hate character limits, but THUNDRZORD can live with them.

Whoever decided that the Surf/Fly Pikachus have only a 3% chance of appearing needs to be punched on the face. I wasted 500 or so watts only to find one, and on top of that it escaped...FROM THE GODDAMN POKEBALL WHEN IT ONLY HAD 1 BAR OF HP!  O:<

After that I haven't had any luck getting anything above a "!" =/

My life is currently bears and Jojos and everything is great.

Hypershell

I'd be amazed that you GOT your first rare Pikachu down to one bar of HP, considering my luck.  Every single Pikachu that I missed was due to a Critical Hit at half health.  Which got *REALLY* old after the fourth time. O:<

For me it was just the opposite, I wanted to practice on regular pikachu's, since I normaly don't get 10,000 steps anyway, but they just run away if I tried my hit and evade tactic even once.

What pissed me off more was that the Pikachu escaped with 1 hp, but the next normal Pikachu I throw a pokeball at without doing anything before stays there -___-

My Cyndaquil is Dante. The other permanent part of my team, Shinx, is Vergil.

What's amsuing, is I started to play HeartGold then realised I still had FireRed. I started playing that inside.

Ooh, names!

I don't know how I come up with my names, but I think they're decent.
Quilava: Prite (Formerly "Ictaca")
Zubat: Examus
Togetic: Meringue
Flaaffy: Temer
Gastly: Ammele
And there was a Geodude that I stopped using, who I named "Dram".

I put on my [twin slasher] face.

I also go by Spectro D., Idylleaus, Malabar, and Dumb-bit Twofuck.

Quick pokewalker question, if I already got 10,000 steps one day, do I need to do it again the next day to find the rare pokemon even if I haven't returned mine from the stroll?

My life is currently bears and Jojos and everything is great.

Hypershell

Probably yes.  Because, if you look at your Pokewalker's counters, steps do not carry over day-to-day (but watts do).

Solar

I'm not so sure, I think I remember getting a !! yesterday with 3000 or so steps. Besides, even if the counter resets it's still counting them together in one stroll for when it sends the data back to the DS which is why I'm not sure.

Ok, I just got a metal coat from the pokeathlon and my scyther is currently level 31, is there ANY reason I shouldn't want to evolve him right now?

Not unless Wing Attack, Air Slash, and Vacuum Wave mean anything to you.  And really, they shouldn't.

Fun fact about Scyther/Scizor, the base stat total does not actually increase.  Scizor just has the obviously better typing, and re-arranged stats for less speed and more attack and defense.
