As you'll see on scan NP29 here, there were definitely way more entries they received than what was posted in the mag. Now why Cappy thought their designs were better than what NP felt like showing off, who knows. But I don't think we ever got to see what those kids' designs were like. And Knight Man's not American. He's a Canoodian.

So, published about a year later, here is scannage from Vol. 55, featuring consecutive spreads for MMIV (GB) and Megaman 6. [COMING NEXT MONTH IN TOMORROW'S SCANS! MEGAMAN X!] Also the only page I found at the moment for MMV (GB). I dunno where the rest of those pages went. ^^;



This has nothing to do with Megaman. It definitely is not the most exciting scan in the world, but it is a scan. And that's why I'm posting it for no reason in this thread: The best part of Nintendo Power.

So I guess I don't have the very first page featuring MM7, from Vol. lucky 77. I must have ripped it to shreds and tossed it due to too many "Dr. Wiley"s. The last three pages were on the back of the pull-out poster, so that explains some odder cropping. That's followed up tonight by Vol. 56's X Coverage. Which was in the worst shape in terms of tear damage.



Tomorrow I'll probably finish up with X2 and X3's reviews. Welcome again GG and anyone who is enjoying these.

At Gonzo's request, as she's been on the magazine/ad binge of late, I have dug out my old Nintendo Powers and begun scanning. I wasn't a subscriber for the earliest games, so no MM2-4 issues. And I actually threw out many of the older issues, but specifically tore out the Megaman parts long ago. So there's a bit of wear and tear in these pages.

No, I traveled through time and space, threatened NESter to fork over hard copies on a floppy disk from the NP database with a sword to his head, buried my shell at wounded knee, fought a floating Sub Tank in a musclebound robot body to be able to travel back to the future, where I could convert floppy data to CD, landed in the present and posted them at this moment.

Those wiki scans, so not mine, either.

And yes, I can scan more ZX, Sakura. I'll get to them too when I can. If it's linked on the wiki and not credited with somebody else's name for the cover scan, I own it and can scan.

Two things I found on the Interwebz long ago: A Famicom Barcode Wars cart and a scan from an art book. The first image was chosen because one character on the label bears a suspicious resemblance to Protoman...despite being female. The second...well, I'm not sure what to say about it, since I don't know who's chilling with Rock.EXE, but it doesn't seem to be up anymore.

And because I can, here's the main image for Sonic HQ's very dead sister site, Megaman HQ. How dead? The site was broken and tattered when I discovered it in middle school. In 2002.

Eh, since I decided to do some ZX for Sakura, no X3 tonight. Might be Saturday when I get to that final spread. X2's Vol. 69 (giggity) is the only Megaman themed-one I still have the whole mag in tact, although just barely with the crappy spine. So you get the bonus of a tattered cover and the awesome pros and cons review! Quick, guess the con before looking at the scan and tell me you didn't get it! Hey, they could've been harsher like they were on others:
