Only the main character of a shonen can defeat the big bad? What a plot twist!

Honestly, this is how I want things to go:

Aizen and Ichigo fight -> Ichigo actually starts getting the upperhand in the battle, but Aizen manages to get Ichigo to see his shikai-> When all seems lost, Ichigo learns to control his new mask and beats-> Aizen goes bankai and completely overpowers Ichigo and everyone else, but when he's about to deliver the finishing blow, Orihime appears and rejects Aizens existence.

I want to see Orihime do something like that at least once >_>

I still think that two things are going to happen. First off, Aizen's not getting defeated here. I don't even think he's going to be doing any real fighting. Secondly, he's bailing out.

It's funny though how you only notice things like this after you get older and start discerning things. I thought it was pretty bad that such a great episode in the series (animation wise) would have the same scene copied and pasted over so many different episodes. It's pretty much destroying my hopes of seeing things better than that one episode.

I can't say I'm too surprised. Anime reuses animations so much that some of them just don't even try to hide it.

Of course, there are worse things...

Tosen's just a huge hypocrite, so is Komamura though, Ichigo having hollow powers is fine because he didn't ask for them, but the Vizards are forced to obtain hollow powers and they are considered traitors of soul society?

Gotta remember that Komamura wasn't around for their first exile at the hands of the Aizen hypnotized Central 46. It might be that he just went with whatever the other captains not in the know told him.
