Looks like flash cards don't work with the DSi. There's a guy who tested 20 Flash Cards and no one of them worked.

I'm watching you all. Always watching.

Archer

Luckily for me, I don't use Flash Carts.  :D

With that SD Card port, though, and some messing around with exploits, it could be possible to get PSP style homebrew going on the DSi, though.

Stay vigilant for now.

Harruhy

I thought everyone knew this. This is old news. >_>

The Wii has a SD card slot too, right? Any chances to link them somehow?

Possibly, but not overly likely. At any rate, the Wii's packing the Homebrew Channel, which works just as fine.

I hope the Homebrew channel starts becoming easier to apply into the wii.

Easier than it already is?

Also, further proof that hackers are fast.

That is cool.

Also, the Homebrew Channel isn't easy to put on the Wii if you don't Have Twilight Princess.

If you own a Wii and do not own Twilight Princess, you deserve a boot to the head.

I used to own TP (3 times, don't ask), but hey

RENT IT

Hypershell

You STILL deserve a boot to the head, unless manual camera control and the sun rising in the East means enough to warrant a GCN purchase, no Wii should be without Twilight Princess.

Mirror mode is for right handed [Top Spin]s.

Granted I don't get why they couldn't just mirror Link instead of the whole freaking game, but Helm Splitter without the nunchuck is far more wrong than mirror mode.

I used to think that, too.

But those dungeons. They're no fun at all.

Anyway, when all was said and done, I got rid of it because I'm hoping the new LoZ for Wii that Miyamoto hinted at as "being in development" will top TP.

I have the same hope for SMG2, if that's coming, but I kept SMG1 due to the fact that there might be some key experiences in SMG1 you may not get from SMG2 (Mario games do that).

>manual camera control
...you couldn't in the Wii version? Don't need it, anyway.

That means I'll be keeping my DS Lite for a long time!

Flash carts and such were already confirmed long befor the DSi came out that they would not work on it.

Kirby Pink

Great, here i was hoping to replace my broken DSlite with a DSi... Ah well, i can still put the microsd on a SD then pop it into the DSi.
Won't be long until we get better Snes emu,nes emu etc. and load roms from the sd slot.
So, Nintendo just made it possible for more people that own a SD card and a DSi to download games and play them. :/
And Nintendo made the DSi to prevent flash cart uses? Well, that just backfired.  8D

I own TP, but it's the Gamecube version (the -original- version, thanks much).  I didn't have a Wii when it came out.

Commander Shepard: *stares blankly at a video of scantily clad asari dancers* ...What kind of hotel is this?
Liara T'Soni: It is a luxury resort with an... exotic edge.  Azure is slang for a part of the asari body in some places on Illium.
Shepard: Where?
Liara: The lower reaches, near the bottom.
Shepard: I meant, "where on the asari body?"
Liara: So did I.

I've used a flashcart or two to test games to see if they are worth buying but overall its not a big loss to me, i know they are just going to come up with something new, who knows maybe some of this can be fixed with a simple firmware update,
