Yeah I saw this over at GAF and only have this much to say. Anyone who can't see why this is fun/awesome/hilarious/want has lost touch with their inner gamer. There was just too much there that was great. I love, love, loooooved how they spat in the face of serious business plots everywhere:
"She is the last of her race, the only one who can balance the force of light and dark."
"... but that's boring, I wanna have fun!"
Like I said, any body who's familiar with Kamiya (or at the least, DMC and Viewtiful Joe) would already expect as such.
I mean, let's face it. VJ? DMC? They both plots that were pretty out there, and never took themselves seriously (especially VJ).
So, needless to say, I'm welcoming Bayonetta with open arms. Too many vid-ya games today take themselves too seriously for my liking. It's good to see that at least Kamiya hasn't lost his playful design in his games.
