Every day starts the same way for me as it does for everyone else: I wake up, but there is that time of morning where the border between the dream and waking worlds blurs. Sometimes it lasts for a few couple seconds, other times it lasts for minutes but it always feels like pure bliss until I finally snap out it and join the real world. Today is no exception. The sun rises in the east and its rays filter through the blinds in my room. I am lying down with one leg poking through the sheets and both arms spread to the side while I remain motionless. Though I am fully conscious, I am still dreaming. Dreaming of worlds so far away that the only way to access them is through imagination.  I dream of fire, flight, and freedom; I have this image of the phoenix in my mind. Of glistening wings of gold and vermilion that carry me far from the concerns of the world I live in.

My alarm sounds off for the third time after having had hit the snooze twice before. That is when I realize that I cannot hold it off any longer. I must join the real world once more. All I could say to that is, "Damn."

A few nights ago, I had an odd dream.  At some point, I was watching some Sixth Doctor episode called "The Dreams of Har Farhkuu" or something.  It involved an alien queen (Har Farhkuu, I guess) and her time-traveling race of Kiliks.  I'm not sure what the plot was, if there was any plot.  At some point, there was a scene of Har Farhkuu molting into her next stage of evolution or something wonky, and she was connected to this giant web, surrounded by her Kilik followers as she pulled off pieces of her black, shiny exoskeleton, revealing spikes and some leather outfit that Catwoman would envy.  The episode has significance because it was, for whatever reason, an episode that my brother and I apparently guest-starred in as residents of some backwater planet who helped the Sixth Doctor defeat Har Farhkuu.  Some how.

Then, at another point, I was attending a dinner with my mom and she turned into the giant Me Monster and was stomping the city to the ground.  So, I summon my giant robot morphing powers, yell "Henshin a go go, baby!" and morph into a bizarre hybrid of the Megazord and Ultraman and battle the Me Monster, just as Godzilla stomps in.

I am not writing a fanfic about it.  No.  I refuse.  Not even the Sixth Doctor episode.  There's nothing to go on!

Some weird dream I had last year or so, which I came across while reading through another topic on TFN.  Copied it to share with someone else.
