Topic: New Sillent Hill remake for Wii and more Rayman (possibly)

The possibly in the title is there because of the date, but it looks legit to me and it's not the first time today something like this happens.

“This is a reimagining of the first Silent Hill,” explains producer Tomm Hulett. “It’s not a remake or a port. That’s an important distinction. It really feels like a new game.”

“Longtime fans of the series will also be delighted to learn that there’s a way through every locked door; no more checking dozens of entrances only to find that 90% of them are permanently barred shut.”

A new Rayman is also confirmed on the cover, well, a new Rabbids game because if NP didn't just get lazy/run out of space then they dropped the Rayman part of the title.

Yeah, I'm seriously getting mad at the Rabbids now. I want a Rayman platformer already.

As for Silent Hill... I'm not really a fan, but I'd imagine this news would be of great interest to a lot of people.

Though the three party games the Rabbids have now appeared in give some vague context to their existence, the upcoming Rabbids Go Home is the one that truly expands upon their story and gives the fuzzy little creatures a twisted and unforgettable adventure to take on."

"So what's the story behind this Rabbids adventure? The Rabbids want to go home. Where's home? Not even the Rabbids know for sure, but the moon has caught their attention—and become "home" in the process. Now the Rabbids must collect and build a pile of junk high enough that they can reach the moon. It's an odd setup, and from what we can tell, the story is the sanest part of the game."

"When playing the game, you control two Rabbids at once: one who sits inside a shopping cart, and another who pushes it. Collecting junk is as easy as touching it ot make it fly into your cart, though some pieces require an extra step. For instance, if you want to collect the clothes off one of the many human citizens in the world, you use your "Bwah!" attack to scare the clothes right off of their bodies, leaving them shivering in their underwear."

"Items aren't just for building a mountain to the moon. "Lots of the stuff the Rabbids snag throughout the adventure will give players new abilities for moving or attacking with the shopping cart."

Well, still not a Rayman platformer, but not a party game either =P

I had nothing against the party games, mind you, but this is awesome sounding. It's like Tom & Jerry meets Katamari.

Keeping an eye out for this one as well.

I was really hoping Origins would've been the remake for the first game, but alas.... I was happy with what I got. The only gripe I have at the moment is that the characters look a little weird... Cybil looks totally different (if that even is Cybil) and Harry looks like a lot like Alex from Homecoming. I honestly would've been satisfied with just a re-make, not a re-"interpretation". For some reason this sounds like a really bad idea, the movie was excellent but I think it's polluting the games a little more than it should.

Speaking of PH, that cameo he had in Homecoming was completely pointless, it angered me greatly that he was in the game, and the MOVIE version no less...

I never saw why people like him so much, Valtiel from Silent Hill 3 was much cooler.

I'm pretty sure Rayman's dead. He lost his luster pretty quickly. The rabbids took it over because they were more simple and charming... and prone to getting horribly hurt.
