...Y'know, up until Itachi, the series was constant awesome...

Zabuza was win, Rock Lee is win, Chunin Exams were win, Itachi was win, but then after that, Sasuke started acting like a manhood, and that's when things took a turn for the worse...

Now that I think about it, everyone is dissing Naruto for obtaining God mode, but nobody is hating the boss for having powers that require Naruto to have his mod upgrade. No powerful bosses = No powerful upgrades.

I actually didn't like Shizune. Ever since she snitched on Naruto and Tsunade to the old farts, I've harbored a dislike for her character.

I just remembered that after HidanxKakuzu arc comes the infamous 2 girls jutsu, so I hunted down the episode and well...I'm just gonna post the pic comparisons for you men and women to have fun looking at the hotness~

Thinking about it, I actually really liked this chapter.

Not the gimpy Nagato part, but Pain actually made some sense to me.

I'm confused though. Who started Akatsuki now? Nagato says that he did it and obviously has been working with his own goals in mind, but Itachi stated that Madara did it and Madara is obviously not after the same thing that Nagato is, unless of course he plans to use Nagato's weapon offensively.

Very strange.

But at least the people who thought that Nagato/Pain had a legitimate god complex should be silenced by this. I've said all along that it was an act meant to emphasize the futility of standing in Pain's way and not a psychological issue, and this pretty much clears that up.

But...who said that Pain was making sense? Really? He was making sense? It sounded more like a failed attempt at writing to me. What is Pain's goal? To take over the world. That's essentially what he said in a nutshell, except it took him the entire chapter to say it. He essentially wants to destroy the current government and make people hate him. Then make it seem like he gets defeated at some point, so people get a temporary dose of peace before he destroys the world again. To him, this will make them appreciate the limited peace they get. In other words, he wants to take over the world and control it. In my opinion, this is pretty lame.

Oh, and it's the plot to Final Fantasy X.
