I LOLed, but yeah, if that's the case, burn a roadstarter disc or something with the necessary tools to remake/edit bootloaders and recover data from the hard drive without mounting any data from the disc onto the drive.

bootloaders scare me. AKA every time I've ever messed with one, it's always resulted in a [tornado fang]'d up system. Also I have a mac-tel so I should be fine.

Kinda like Comcast's invisible bandwidth limitation and Macintosh's old usage policy, they're a bunch of a crap and you won't know it 'till someone comes up to you with a statement and a piece of paper that'd ruin the rest of your day.

Rad: The new Sabayon Linux (4.0r1) has been a pain in my rear. I'm sticking with 3.4f, Fedora 10 and Mandriva 2009. As far as any other OSs go, I'm sticking with the official BlackXP and Violet Vista releases, though still trying and testing others as per usual. AND GET SOME TAN! My skin's ugly as it is. >_>
