I do have Alpha Sapphire, though I play it very on/off. I typically prefer to play Showdown if I really feel like competitive pokeymanz.

Ah I was kind of wondering if you had X or Y, and beaten it, due to the Friend Safari and all but I'll check which 2 Pokemon are in there with just your vanilla Friend Code. 

EDIT: And it's an Electric Safari with Electebuzz and Dendennes.  Not going to lie, I ran into like 10 Electebuzzes before finding the Dendenne.  I'm almost surprised I didn't find a Shiny.

Nintendo Switch is here!  ...and it went back to Friend codes (D'OH!).

The good news is you can stalk friends you made in their mobile games.

It also seems to work like PSN in that you can accept friend requests and not have to wait til someone inputs your friend code, and I think NNID support might come around the time the online stuff is sorted out, but we'll see.  There's also the option to add on Mitomo, Facebook, and Twitter.

Otherwise it'll be a while til I get a Switch.

EDIT: Oops not by Twitter or Facebook, at least for now.  But you can add with people you've played with, if you really want to add them I guess.

Switch update 3.0 went live, which among other things, FINALLY recommends friends from past Nintendo systems!  Both 3DS and Wii U are supported.  So I can finally begin stalking the dozen or so RPM bums who never shared their Switch code on the forums, yay!
