I admit it, I raged. Not because I just bought NJ2 2 days ago, Or because It's only on PS3. Hell, I don't even like the Gaiden series.....but because

PLAYABLE AYANE!....and she looks hot!

Planned to be released this Fall, in Japan at least.

...Eh. I dunno...this game is probably going to try and come out around the same time as the likes of Bayonetta. And if that's the case, then well, Bayonetta still wins. XD

But seeing Ayane again is a nice touch, at least.

Am I missing something here? Last I heard, Team Ninja couldn't use any of Itagaki's creations whatsoever, which pretty much shot down the dreams of any other game aside from DOA5 or whatever the next one was. Plus, wasn't Team Ninja about to be bought out by a different company?

Someone mind filling me in on the details since those were the latest? I know they refused to be bought out by Square-Enix, but I thought there was a second company that attempted and succeeded in buying them.

Honestly, I don't know why they refused to be under SE's wing. Considering the money they're making, it seems like financially that would be the best call.

I think I messed up somewhere, it may be Tecmo that Square Enix wanted, I think Team Ninja is a subsidiary or something (the 2nd party to a 3rd party developer if that makes any sense), and by owning Tecmo, SE would have control over Team Ninja.

Either way, Square Enix didn't buy them out because they were put down, but I heard another company was trying/succeeded in buying them out.

I love SquEnix to death, but the real reason why not just tecmo, but a LOT of companies refuse mergers with SquEnix,  is because In the business world, They're [tornado fang]ing Nazi's.

Pretty much any merger done with them results in SE completly in charge and in controll, with the devs and staff from the other sides suffering greatly.

Tecmo's CEO even said it himself. The reason for the refusal by the board was because they didn't want to be "owened by Square Enix", in this so called Merger.  And he's not the only one.

Even during the Square Enix Merger, A [parasitic bomb] load of Enix staff all left the company because they were pissed off. And not just them, Square also lost a ton of great talent because of it. Many of the important directors/producers and dev teams felt betrayed because the merger was made without their knowledge and behind their backs.

They had disrespected their HONARU!!!

New Update people!
Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Trailer

Ayane's there and Momiji is there too and she's in 3D. My twin is happy but we don't have PS3. [tornado fang]. Anyways, I think there's 2 player mode there because Ryu and Ayane are there fighting together. New bosses. In the trailer, I think Marbus is back, there's a dragon with fire on its back, a bone boss fiend thing, a Buddha statue in Tokyo and the Statue of Liberty Boss in New York is going to kill Ryu. I wish I should've bought PS3.
