It kind of was. The 2D and 3D parts were split, much like the video had it going. Granted not a huge split, it did shift from 2D to 3D.

It looks awesome, but unless they're willing to apply some manner of shading for objects in the distance, they need to stop lining up the camera EXACTLY in the "2D sidescrolling" position.  It's very easy to get background and foreground mixed up that way.  Keeping a slight angle to the camera would work wonders.

And here I thought that the game might be disappointing for me, seeing how it's played in the first trailer. Now I have to take back my thoughts (is that possible?) and says it out loud that this game is BEYOND AWESOME!!!

I mean, I thought just the 2.5D idea was awesome in itself.  But the Co-OP with Blues...that's literally a dream come true.  Capcom needs to hire this man to put this game on WiiWare, PSN, XBLA, DSiWare, anything.  It would sell so much.

Oh god that looks so hard, just check out the timing of the guys when P2 stands on a button and jumps off it just as P1 jumps off the red block it created..

Hmmm... I just had an interesting Idea for a product. make Life up shaped Megaman popsicles and sell them as Megaman life ups. in boxes of mmm- 10 maybe?
