I got a Steam controller a few days ago. Very nice. I suggest getting one. Handles very well and easy to get use to. My favorite part about it is that it has buttons on the grips you can just touch with your bottom fingers. Tried out Pacman Championship Edition, Rocket League, and Skullgirls so far with it. All play nice.

If I'm being entirely honest, Smash 4 is probably my least favourite in the series.

I 'unno...I just don't enjoy it anywhere near as much as Melee. Maybe it's the character choices. Even Brawl isn't much fun for me.

That might well be the problem I have with Smash 4. My initial reaction to the final (+DLC) roster was pretty much "I'm fine with Sonic and Megaman, and I don't care either way about Shulk, but what in the bloody blue [tornado fang] are Pac-Man, Ryu, Cloud and Bayonetta doing here?". I feel like Smash Bros kinda-sorta sold its' soul in order to grab more sales.

Not sure if I'm wording that exactly how I mean it to come across, but in my mind, Melee had a charm to it that both Brawl and especially Smash 4 seem to lack.

I'll take your word for it. Her personality and overall presentation in the first game pretty much killed any interest I might've had in the franchise.

That's actually one of the things some people admire about her; she's so confident about her appearance, not to mention powerful. Like, in-[tornado fang]ing-sanely powerful.

And of course, you have others who find it incredibly misogynistic.

Well, I believe it'd be misogynistic to have her as a weak, damsel in distress who only serves as eye candy.
