Well, for all those people in the South/Central Time Zone, they just announced a PAX South in late January. It'll be in San Antonio, Texas.

Amazon Canada is retarded. It's already released in the U.S. when I placed the order but due out April 8th up here. Two weeks and I finally get an estimated delivery date of May 23rd. I cancel the order and try the local bookstore chain and it arrives in 2 days on the free shipping deal that normally takes twice the length. I never thought I'd be grateful to one of my country's vendors.

Oh, yesterday I bought beer.  Mostly hard ciders and fruity ales.  Got a Honey Brown Lager to try, and it wasn't bad.  It's a mindless beer with a flavor that doesn't register much on the yuck scale.  Tried a Lemonhead raspberry wheat ale, and it was similar to the Honey Brown in terms of drinkability.  I have a Redd's Strawberry Ale and an Angry Orchard Cinnful Apple cider left, since Ringman took the Woodchuck's and the Sea Dog with him.

Oh yeah, I got the full version of a GBA emulator app so I can battle my total of 2 friends I'll never see again via Bluetooth.

Had my first full length battle the other day, got my ass whooped because his team was a few levels up from mine. I thought I could take him because type advantages, but I forgot it's not a NPC Trainer battle where you just switch whenever "Your opponent is about to use X. Change Pokemon?"
