...When Larry the reploid accountant goes maverick of his own accord, he's certainly formidable during tax season, but he isn't going to provide X the challenge needed to make him grow as a warrior and reach his potential.

Phi

Huh, I didn't know Yoshitaka Amano illustrated for Sandman.

I picked one a Coke with the name "Hannah" at the Wal-Mart last Saturday. I remarked that it was now my drag name. 8D

I guess "Jacob" would be my drag name, as that was the Coke I picked out a few days ago. 8D

Amatiramisu

So I was buying an air pump and a hose for my fish but it seems Amazon thinks I need to spend 25 dollars or more to get the hose because it's an "add-on item" so to appease the powers that be, I bought a copy of Mega Man ZX. Okay.

The hose by itself costs five [tornado fang]ing dollars.

Quickman

Groceries, cat food, and a Jessica Rabbit Keepsake ornament.  My tree will be a little sexier this Christmas. 8D

Amatiramisu

I got the two Periphery albums I've been missing. I also got some stuff for my fish.

Pyro

I sailed down the Missouri River on my long boat and raided the city of Great Falls, Montana. While I failed to capture any wenches, I managed to get some loot including:

-A Model 1 Sega Genesis (though not the original model)
-Copies of Dynamite Heady and Buster's Secret Treasure.
-Some Sonic the Hedgehog pint glasses
-A Superman T-Shirt that reads "Where's the Party."
-A smack-ton of Halloween candy, much of it caramel apple-themed.

I picked up a new 360 controller for my PC, since my old one was getting stiff buttons. Wireless this time. Movin' up in the world. I also get a 32GB SD card for my 3DS because the 4GB one I got with it just wasn't cutting the mustard anymore. With my new card, I finally bought Rune Factory 4, which I could never find a physical copy of in any local stores. I also bought Fable Anniversary and Hack 'n' Slash on Steam.

Fable Anniversary has been a huge nostalgia trip, but a bit frustrating at times because it's kind of a [parasitic bomb] port. I have an Nvidia card, which means I have the stuttering issue that thousands of others have. Hoping for a patch soon to fix that.

Sakura Leic

I still need to get a new SD card myself, it's amzing to see how 2GB fills up so fast.
Current playthrough: Chrono Trigger and God Eater Ressurection

Considering that my 3DS XL came with Mario & Luigi Dream Saga preloaded and I got it during the Pokemon X/Y promotion, where if you bought a 3DS you got a free digital copy of either X or Y, I had two rather large games sitting on my SD card. It made buying other digital games rather difficult.

Sakura Leic

Yeah I never get Digital games over physical ones, that and the original only came with a 2GB card. I'm wondering if a micro SD card with an adapter would work since the New 3DS needs a micro SD card.

Really? That kinda stinks. Well, I just bought my 3DS XL, so I doubt that I'll be buying a new one any time soon. It will make things annoying if I do later though. My 3DS uses normal SD cards. Is it to keep people from buying 128GB SD cards? I know someone who has one of those.

Sakura Leic

I think it's hardware limitations since it has a better CPU, I mean it has to be since the port of Xenoblade Chronicles is exclusive to the New 3DS because of that.

What?! If they start making games exclusive to the new 3DS, it would suck. I just got mine like a few months ago!

Sakura Leic

Well so far it's only Xenoblade Chronicles, which is a port of a game for the Wii,  a few will be but there will still be games for both.  Think of it like comparing the DS to the DSi, except without excluding anything on the upgrade.

Well, I'm not really complaining just yet. I'm not really that interested in Xenoblade. It's part of a game series that I always found confusing. The stories in those games are always absurdly complex and hard to follow. It's done on purpose that way and it's just not a compelling way to tell a story. Multi-layered stories have a place, but only when they're written cohesively. The story in Xeno games is often loose and full of complexity for complexity sake, not because it adds something to the story. Basically, it comes off as pretentious and I stopped caring within playing a few hours of those games.
