My D-Arts Zero just came in today! :D

Its really good, though compared to the X, I dunno, it feels a bit off in the quality. X was painted with some kind of glossy semi-metallic paint, but Zero isnt. His upper legs DO seem a bit too long- though thats not a problem. Theres a few spots where I can see paint marks (like slight excesses I mean, almost like brush strokes), and the seam on the top of his head at the part that removes, on the white part, is too noticeable. It kind of irks my inner nerd that they made the buster silver instead of white, but it still looks really cool.

The hair. It is really nice. But by God, it REALLY gets in the way of posing. It's articulation at the hair tie isnt that great either.

still overall great though. At least THIS charge shot isnt as obnoxiously heavy as to require it's own support.

EDIT: I APPROVE OF ZERO'S PROPERLY PROPORTIONED HELMET I DO.

...When Larry the reploid accountant goes maverick of his own accord, he's certainly formidable during tax season, but he isn't going to provide X the challenge needed to make him grow as a warrior and reach his potential.

He doesn't look very happy to be in your possession.

Its Zero. He's never happy.

In all honesty though, a smile face wouldnt have gone amiss on these. Especially with Zero having thumbs up hands.

the thumbs up looks more like it was meant for a sword, theres a small gap in it where the handle could fit.

Which brings possibilities for a V2 Zero.

And also that the sculptors were lazy and didn't want to make an actual thumbs up hand so they used a hand for a later figure.

A really crappy phone pic of my newest acquisitions.  They're not figures, but I guess they could be considered models... even though they're sealed under glass.

I intend to get better pics soon.

Workshop/DA/YT/Photobucket なにかんがえてるの!?
So its about ass now huh? EVEN THE ASS HAS 'EXCEEDED'!

One mention of LEGENDS and everyone goes batshit.  :\

Yep, every time when someone mentions that game people get energized for an apparent reason whatsoever. It's like this everywhere else, trust me.

It got really messy to find my sprite and comic topic, so it's in my sig.

D-Arts Zero arrived, Never doubted the slow shipping for a second.

Can't really say much that hasn't been said. Ponytail is kinda loose, but I like how they made the helmet so the hair tie won't interfere with articulation.

Back of the box is pretty much an advertisement for Full Armor X, which, looking at the the forseeable future, I won't be able to actually recieve until december, probably.

Since I just arrived home, I got to crack open my Full Armor X Package.

Overall its a nice figure, the arms are having issues staying on, and it seems like the figure was intended to be a modular enhancement to the original X and not a stand-alone figure seeing how it is much easier to take apart. I'm either going to use both Full Armor and normal X in different Displays or swap the two out occasionally. I think Full Armor is going to be set up with Vile once he gets released.

Going to have to find that glue and re-attach Zero's Ponytail.

Oh, I also got around to ordering Kotobukiya Zero and Rio:Bone Panty. So I have good things in store for later.

So I have a bit of a problem. I'm thinking of purchasing a Robot Damashii ARX-7 Arbalest, but I'm not sure whether to get the Standard figure that hasn't been in print for ages or pick up the Lambda Driver version, they appear to be the same but I don't know if the lambda driver version has everything the original has. Which should I get?

EDIT: Huh, the Lambda Driver ver. isn't even out yet. Doesn't release till next feburary.

So, I just got my Kotobukiya Zero today. Overall its a nice looking figure. However I'm dissapointed, never was it made clear that painting would essentially be required for this figure, no yellow stripes on his torso, no white part on his hands excluding the Z-Knuckle Hand, The gun is white as opposed to white/grey. Gonna have to get some paint markers or something.
