I still can't believe they went with Black Zero... so many better choices.

Well, once you go black, you don't go back. 8D

They've had a prototype around for as long as that Sigma was around.

It just took them a long time to get around to releasing it.

Nope.

I think Wonfes hasn't come around yet so maybe then.

When is Wonderfest anyways?

I'm watching you all. Always watching.

Dr. Wily II

Ooooooooh... *rub palms*

I'm watching you all. Always watching.

Police Girl

Ugh, so many dumbasses thinking that Bandai has plans for a "Fake Zero" figure just because the Black Armor Zero slightly differentiates from the Fake's coloring.

I want to prove them wrong so bad and rub it in their faces but they won't listen to common sense.

Completely silly but I must prevail or something.

Annd the truth comes out, Case Closed.

Flame

I feel iffy about buying what is literally just a recolor. At least X's copies have some differentiation. The manga one comes with different faceplates and a different buster accessory, (aside from color differences) and the metallic one is a special edition thing. (and it's [tornado fang]ing metallic. that's awesome and shiny)

Then again, I might actually buy it anyway. I bought the Jazzwares black Zero back in the day too. :P

...When Larry the reploid accountant goes maverick of his own accord, he's certainly formidable during tax season, but he isn't going to provide X the challenge needed to make him grow as a warrior and reach his potential.

Police Girl

Well with this recolor you get:

-Purple Saber

And these two comical faces.

So there's something different.

But the main question is...

Is the helmet to your liking? 8D :P

Wait so it does come with two different faceplates?

Helmet's fine.

Looks like it should.

Flame approves.

i should make like, some sort of Flame stamp of approval for helmets...  8D

EDIT:

you know, despite what i said about recolors, I would totally buy a Nightmare Zero recolor.

Yeah, its Angry and Angrier, but he's looking in different directions.

So Bluefin posted two cryptic messages on their facebook accompanied by pictures of Cosplayers.

QuoteDo you like ‎#NinjaGaiden?
QuoteWhat female fighting game characters would you like to see? ‎#t_darts

I guess they're trying to imply that we'll see some Ninja Gaiden, and the second one was accompanied by a Mai Shiranui cosplayer so I can assume they're going to be making her as well.

Whatever happened to that Noel prototype they had?

Coming in December with a Re-release of Kurisu's normal figma.

Oh and there's some rumor going around that GSC is finally going to make figma Archer (Not Gilgamesh Archer, but FSN Archer.) But this is a rumor, so I'm not actually going to be hyped.

Quickman

Now with slippers and a buckle weenie!

Though, it also has something that I've found interesting in figures; articulated clothing.  There's a Batman figma with an articulated cape.  One one hand, it seems clunky, but on the other hand, it's awesome.

Police Girl

figma is just a brand name. :P

I'm pretty sure it was a Play Arts Kai... the Batman ones were actually pretty good from what I've heard but the general consensus there is that Square Enix overcharges for really mediocre sculpts, terrible or horrifying faces, and DEM [tornado fang]'d UP KNEES.

Quickman

I just use "figma" as a general term. :P

But yeah, those Play Arts Kai knees are something else.

Protoman Blues

Yeah those looks lovely!

Eh, I think I'd rather GAR Shirou.

The faces are pretty bad too.
I mean that's where Nightmare face Sora came from.

That already exists though.

Oh, did you mean a rerelease? Pfft no, we'll just get more sabers or mikus.

Quickman

I've only seen the Batman and Joker figures, with those wonky knees.  I think a couple Revoltech figures had Play Arts Kai knees, if I recall.  I mean, double-hinged knee joints are great, but... wow.

Police Girl

The thing is while figma don't traditionally have double jointed knees they really don't need them as the range of motion is already really good.

I guess they might have their reasons? Maybe they don't want the joints to be too small. Still wish they didn't get as many licenses as they have, though figma for some reason loves making boring schoolgirls more than anything else. I'm looking at my S.H. Figuarts Akiba Red and he has rather reasonably sized knees AND they're double jointed, so Squeenix just doesn't have much of an excuse seeing as other companies have done it better. Maybe they should... oh I don't know, improve on their flaws?

Quickman

I don't have much experience with figma knees, as the only high-end figure I have currently is Mewtwo.  Though, his elbow joints are really nice.

And speaking of 6" figures...

Looking very nice...  I may actually pre-order that.

Yeah Mewtwo is really lacking in the knee department.

I almost regret buying him because he's horribly unwieldy for me to pose. Then again I regret 1 out of every 10 figures I buy.

Quickman

Knee joints could have been worked in much in the same was as the joints in the base of his tail.  Other than that, I'm pretty happy with the figure.  Currently, I have him in a flying pose before I decide to repose him doing something else.

Police Girl

The rest of Hurricanger (Save for Shurikenger) has been spotted at a Tamashii Nations event.

And guess what? They're all exclusives! Ahahaha go [tornado fang] yourself bandai. Though going by tradition I can guess that Shurikenger will be standard going by the Reds/6th Ranger Rule they seem to follow.

Oh, and they're two packs. So no buying just Blue for me, I'll have to get Yellow too which means I should probably get red.

A picture of Bluefin's SDCC booth, specifically the display of the Shiny paint recolor Shinkenger team (Which this is the first and probably only release of the rest of the team besides Red and Gold.)

And there's something off to the right.

Reaperoid

...is it wrong for me to want a Mega Mode Red in SHF?

I guess all I can really say is it isn't exactly what I'd expect out of a $4.4M game

It doesn't even have mouth animations
