I couldn't remember if you had a PS3 or not, Blues....but if you....then it's ON! As soon as my Asian copy arrives, and your Domestic copy reaches you!  0v0

On another, slightly-related note:

So, another FG that I've been watching heavily, KOF 2002 UM, is set to come out on Japanese PS2s in two weeks. Can't wait!

But the interesting thing? It turns out that the LAST secret character in the game is....

....WAIT FOR IT....

GUILE. Yes, Guile. Circa his appearance in SvC:Chaos.

Along with that, plans to also announce that Guile will basically be a preview for what is also to come....SvC: Chaos UM.

Dunno what that may entail for any further Capcom and SNK related dealings, but at least we're getting a remake/re-tooling of a game that NEEDED it in the worst way.

Just posting to tell you that it looks like this ended up being BS.

My life is currently bears and Jojos and everything is great.

Yep. It turned out to be one of Iggy's "jokes", this time around. Instead...we got Nightmare Geese. The REAL Nightmare Geese that threw out like 4 shippukens and Reverse Raging Storm, and is pretty much already a safe instant ban.  -u-'

Ah well...

Any way, endings are already cropping up. Like 98, these are just 1-frame stills that relate to each of the default teams, plus a number of custom ones. Have a look here...

I've seen those already today, and for some reason it got me more hyped than any gameplay video XD I really, really love the nostalgia in the AoF pic.

I friggen hate Goenadz. Sure, he's got nothing on cheap bosses like Igniz, but I do not like him. Everything I try to move forward, he's all like "Oh, snap" in the most literal way.

Now, God Rugal. Let's Rock.

Me? I used Ryu to unlock Sakura when I first got it, and haven't used anyone other than Sakura since.

With the exception of playing on easiest mode with one 30 second round each match to unlock the characters faster.

I think she meant Turian, since that was a little boastful and Ken-spamming has apparently been very common with 'n00bs' online.

Bit of a shame for the honest-to-god Ken players who've been using him for the better part of a decade or so.

You would think they would have jumped straight for Akuma or Gouken, since they're apparently very powerful. I guess easy to exploit cheapness is the standard these days in fighting games, not skill.

Would certainly explain the a few "tier" listings.

Remember the SNES days. If not Ryu, then Ken would be their obvious choice. ^^;
They were the infamous Hadoken-spammers and face-smackers back then, and it hasn't changed much since then.

I thought I heard something where Dhalsim is possibly the best character in the game?

It's still early, I think, but he's DEFINITELY up there, if not possibly in direct contention for it. Long reach, plus being able to "tick" (force character to block, taking advantage of frame differentials) then teleport behind to throw/cross-up STILL works just as well here, as it did back in the day!  His mid slide into throw is also TOO GOOD. 8D

From what I heard, the likes of Ryu, Gief, Dictator(Bison/Vega), Sagat and Dhalsim are probably going to be lock-ins for the best characters in the game. And that's just considering the default roster.

As much is Ken is played by a lot of n00bs, as well as black people in Baltimore, MD (8D), he doesn't have quite as many tricks that make him as top banana material as the above. That said, he's still nothing to shirk at all the same...  bVd

Any way, submitted for your approval...the KEN FLOWCHART!!!

And what the hell, one for Dan too...

Thanks to Seth Killian over at Capcom unity...  8D

They like to spam them a lot. ^^
Hadoken to drain their health when they block, and Shoryuken for the air.

...after dying of laughter and then thinking about it...I mean, shoryuken onto people who jump isn't bad at times (I mean, look at El Fuerte, you'd expect Fuerte spammers too for his uppercut-like-grab-move, but I guess he's too hard for others to use...), but the rest...wow...I hope I don't play like that...

I don't believe I was targeting you in my post. I was just saying there are quite a few idiots out there who play Ken by spamming moves. That's about as skill based as abusing Blast-2's in DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi (oh, sure, it'll work on a few people, but run into a player who knows what they're doing and they'll probably tear the spammer a new one... at which point they hit the suspend button on their router or turn off the system.)

I'm gonna play the game for the first time later today, but I've already been hearing Tales from the Street Fighter Crypt. And relating to your story, I got you a worse one.

You know how when you're connected to the PlayStation Network, when you go into Arcade Mode you're available for lobbying for online PVP play? My friend had to disconnect himself and turn off auto-login because he couldn't finish the game after six online fights with the exact same symptoms.

1. Start playing Arcade.
2. Get challenged, usually by Ken. (One time it was Ryu, another time was Zangief.)
3. Lose the match to measure the level of the opposition.
4. Pick Ken against whatever opponent (usually Ken again).
5. Thoroughly own the opponent.
6. Go to the Player Select screen.
7. My friend picks Guile.
8. The opponent disconnects.

Which should be punished man. I never quit, even if I am losing. The game should be played in the spirit of good sportsmanship. If someone wants to mindlessly throw [parasitic bomb] at me, great easy win for me. But if they disconnect, that pisses me off greatly. I guess we are both thinking along the same lines then huh?

i don't know why he has to do that. the game has an option where you can't be challenged while you're in Arcade. at least, that's how it is on 360. if PS3 doesn't have that, that's just stupid.

What happens in Vegas stays on Youtube. I also stream on Twitch from time to time.
