Monks are always good. And with Chakra, give 'em White Mage spells (Priest) or Summon Magic (Summoner). Especially Golem, ohhhh, Golem is very helpful.

AND LEARN LICH. It'll be your one saving grace against the boss of Chapter 3.

Chakra is such a great ability.

Right now I'm running around with flame shields casting Firaja on everything. It's really hard to learn.

I can't say for certain about the PSP version, but on the PSX you could solo the entire game with Ramza as a Black Mage/Calculator combo.

You could solo the game as Ramza anything. Just hang out in a corner and Yell until you get a million turns in a row.

Yeah but if you just yell until you got 50 speed, you'd be taking forever to get through the entire game.
With Calculator/Black Mage, it'll take 1 turn to finish everything off, maybe 2 if it's not quite lucky.

Simple. Level up Ramza to Lv100 (the monsters here usually level up with you), equip stuff that protects you from Death status attacks, then with the Calculator abilities, cast Parameter: Level > Value: Multiple of 5 > Spell: Death. Insta-kill for anything threatening you.

Master Black Mage or White Mage or Both, using the scrolling JP glitch. (It's probably fixed in the PSP version.) then master calculator, from then on out, doesn't matter what level you are, with the right increase in Magic power, your Flare/Holy attacks will be unstoppable.
And it'll hit all targets.
And just in case you're having to hit yourself with the enemies, so you don't fall in battle.
MP Damage, so your MP takes the fall, not you.

I've actually never done that myself, cause I actually enjoy having Ramza + a bunch of Mime's instead.
Mime's are the best, they're like, awesome to the max.

A short-distance walker, he has moves that deals lots of damage in exchange of his own health.
The attacks are long-distance too. He's fun to use and packs lots of armor. ^-^

Aw, they didn't do a CG cutscene for it? That would have been so badass.

I still don't understand why Ramza's sister gets cast out of Ultima's body. It doesn't make any sense.

Balthier has Barriage. It's a gun attack times 4 against any enemy. That's a broken gunman. x3

Mustadio sucked. I only remember him being good in that one battle against all undead dudes, because of that seal skill he had.

Or maybe I was just using him wrong.

Regardless, he always used to die in that battle where you had to save him, so I rank him slightly above Algus.

They still have nothing against Orlandeau. Once broken, always broken.

I mean, over nine hundred damage with pretty much any attack, just like PS1. It's wonderful.

The only advantage with Mustadio is his Aim techs, Arm Aim and Leg Aim, really.

Otherwise, having Agrias and Orlandu always in your team always provided for an enjoyable experience in ass-kicking.
