I have played Tales of Phantasia and Symphonia, and have only beaten the latter one so far. The serie is pretty good, and has a nice different battle system than most RPG's I have played.

Currently I am awaiting Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World, which will be some kind of spin-off.

...Oh, sweet christ, that last character reveal there shows why the CGI version of the game is going to by fugly. Her forehead is huge and it doesn't help the green eyebrows almost vanish into her skin tone.

http://www.psphyper.com/psp/six-more-characters-revealed-for-radiant-mythology-2/

Six characters confirmed, with three of them already being old.

This game is looking good and the vast list of Tales characters are really amazing. We have to wait until Jan. 29, 2009 to get the game but it will be a nice treat when it coems out.

Who would make a cameo apperance outside the Tales of Whatever series this time? ala Tales of the World: Nikarisihi Dungeon 3 (or series, overall)

Workshop/DA/YT/Photobucket なにかんがえてるの!?
So its about ass now huh? EVEN THE ASS HAS 'EXCEEDED'!

One mention of LEGENDS and everyone goes batshit.  :\

Yep, every time when someone mentions that game people get energized for an apparent reason whatsoever. It's like this everywhere else, trust me.

It got really messy to find my sprite and comic topic, so it's in my sig.

Estelle...?

...Eh, I saw it coming, female lead and all... but they could have picked better choices.

So this seems like a pretty good place to leave this. It's the new teaser trailer for the next mothership Tales game on Wii. Overall it's looking pretty top-notch and the new character in this video has an awesome fighting style for the series. Color me impressed already.

The link is direct download only however, so keep that in mind. With all this said and done, enjoy! 8)

Damn teaser looks so good.

I don't really dig the character design for now, but his fighting style and his dodge skill is love.

Love the last bit where he put his sword back into his scabbard. (I know there's a vocab for this.... I forgot)

Sheathe. And yes, the teaser as I said before has perked my interests.

Still no release date for Dawn of the New World...

The game gets mixed reviews as well.

To buy or not to buy?

I see. I just wanted to expand my Tales of... collection with this spinoff to Symphonia, the only Tales of... game which I currently own.

Guess I will have to read up some reviews and either wait for the release date or just plainly forget about it.

i played twice through the japanese version
its a good game and if you played ToS you will remember most of the places and the puzzles are reused.
Its nothing new except it has free run. The story is medium the gameplay is good but the game is way too easy.
I played my second playthrough on Mania and never had any trouble. If you are looking for a challenge you should try another game.
Wii is import friendly with the HBC

Nobody's sure if it's real or not yet.
