PSP/PS Vita memory question?

Does the PSP/PS Vita use the memory stick as the only means for storage?

Dunno about the PSP, but the Vita definitely needs a stick for any storage. Be it music, games, save files, etc.

Cheapest you can get is 4GB for like $20. They're kind of a rip
