Topic: Vintage Mega Man 3 Commercial

As it turns out, a meager handful of people had the opportunity to catch a rare commercial for none other than Mega Man 3, which takes a decidedly different tact from any other Mega Man commercial before or since. And you can find it here.

Mega Man 3. It's out.

Yes, this is old, but I still think it's pretty interesting.

I remember seeing that ad back when it was on TV, and 8 year old me liking it, but I did not remember that it was a commercial for a Mega Man game at all. The lead-in stuck with me, but not the product itself.

Watching it again, now... wow. I had to guffaw at the outfits of those kids. The 80s (or technically early 90s, eh), what a time to be young and impressionable.

Found that and put the MM3 commercial only on my site a looooong time ago.  It's a pretty retro ad.  All of Capcom's ads at the time featured the same "secret agent" theme.

The only commericial I could ever remember in my life seeing that was actually "about" megaman was the megaman 6 one. Just barly remember a faint image of my head in it about it showing gameplay from some of the levels like the area in tomahawk man with the sun in the background. And i think that was the one where it showed a bunch of young kids being interviewed what they think about it, and alot of boys were like "i love megaman!" ...and other people pretending to shoot like him. THAT was good.

I know, I hate game commercials that don't show you anything from the actual game.

Yea that's it! I was actualy searching youtube a couple hours ago right after i posted in here and found that commericial, it's exactly what I remember from so many years ago and it was totally awesome. I read the comments under the video and alot of people don't like it that much it seems or that it's lame...i personally disagree, i think it was damn cool.
