I'm quite the same as you. I only play MMBN6 (Both Version), Megaman Zero 4 and MMSF both games.
How I know Megaman is to read, watch videos or someone's video walkthroughs.
If I don't have the games, well, I use emulators and ROMs... That means I played ZX in an emulator...

F: used by atlus flame rockman
P: used by sarnaq shadow rockman
L: used by thetis water mega man
A: used by grey/ashe
Z: used by zero
X:used by idk and as i under stand the only one able to do double rock on
