Maybe. Not too sure. I feel like playing some FPS recently. Maybe I'll get this along with Killzone 2.

I ended up pre-ordering it today. Playing as Johnson is worth it. Also it comes with all H3 MP maps, plus 3 new ones. Plus the fact that it takes place in a city setting, not to mention at night sold me.

And the main is that actor from Firefly/serenity.

I'd say accessibility in addition to settings and art direction. Same traits that started TF2.

The fact that it's apparently more tactically influenced than it's progenitors makes it sort of tempting.

It's not all that different from before. You just need to dodge alot. It's like playing on Heroic all time in the old games.

Picked it up at midnight and started playing at around 00:30. Already cleared it by 6am.

Been wanting to get some firefight done.  Just managed to get all the Vidmaster ACHS and unlock the recon armor as well.

Well the Firefight is a lot of fun, and if you didn't buy the maps from Halo 3 Multiplayer, you get those.  So, in that regard it's worth it.

Otherwise yeah, the campaign mode was pretty awful.

Yeah, Firefight is a lot of fun. But not so much the campaign. it just felt too short. And even Legendary can be soloed easily once you realize that a Charge shot followed by a head shot can get you through the entire game. Although Coastal highway on nothing but mongooses and rocket launchers with 999 shots was [tornado fang] win.

And I never had any of the old  maps, and combined with Firefight, ODST was worth it. Especially Action sack games.
