So here's the story: a while ago, I made a thread to try and find this urban legend of a game (5-screw edition Mega Man). Now, out of the blue (get it?) one just pops up on ChaseTheChuckWagon.

I would love to buy this one, but the price is a little too steep. Now, he never quite mentioned if it was working...

I really must wonder what difference having 5 screws on your NES cart makes.

More or less screws.

More or less screws.

Performance-wise, I meant. Should've clarified that.

Solar

Nothing, it's just like searching for the first edition of something.

My life is currently bears and Jojos and everything is great.

Rad Lionheart

Your inability to clarify has caused Rad to make a silly joke.
You're welcome.

I don't honestly care, unless this legendary fifth screw is made of solid gold or something, I'd rather put my money into getting capcom to make more sequels.

wxcept I can understand getting a "first editionm" thing, at least that can be shown off as "first edition" but over the number of screws in the cartridge? thats pretty umm... well, insignificant really... you tell people, and they say, "so?"

...When Larry the reploid accountant goes maverick of his own accord, he's certainly formidable during tax season, but he isn't going to provide X the challenge needed to make him grow as a warrior and reach his potential.

And even then, that's a pretty small amount of gold.

Just enjoy yourself, don't complain about everything

Protoman

5th screw did exist in early NES titles (During it's launch 1985 run) but....... I dunno if they applied to Megaman games later on (1987)
